The guys at Penzance store deserve a pay rise. Helped me out when I was in a pickle just before heading back home from holidays. Nice, friendly and professional - even though the issue wasn't straightforward they persevered and managed to sort it out. Thank you guys. 5 stars

Just got served at 5pm today by literally the most helpful bicycle repair man of all time. Not only did he go the extra mile to help, despite previously not properly being book in for a tire and inner tube replacement over the phone by an agent, but was very friendly and professional. He sorted my bike out right there and then, even though he didn't have to. He came up with the perfect solution to sort out my punctured inner tube and threadbare tire.Give this amazing chap an immediate pay rise! Halfords need to keep people like that! Absolutely top service. Dan

Nice staff. Helfpul and friendly but (and it's a big butt), when I thought I'd bought a socket set on offer for £34 (as per the promotional pricing in-store), I was charged the full price of £40. I nearly didn't notice, but checked my receipt. They rectified the mistake, but when I asked the manager why this had happened, he said: 'the promotion's ended, but the promotional pricing hasn't been taken down - we can't keep pace with all the offers.' He seemed the efficient, ambitious manager type, the sort who runs a tight ship and likes to hit tough sales targets, not the sort who isn't on top of the detail or wouldn't be able to keep pace. When instructed, it took a member of his team about 45 seconds to remove the promotional pricing.

People friendly at the local store but call centre was horrible to the customers! No information given. I simply asked to connect me to my local store but lady on the phone so rude at customer services and did not put me thorough. I was not feeling well but had to go physically to the store to ask very simple question. customer service could just put me thorough the local store and I would ask couple of questions and would be happy .
