I visited Currys Penzance this morning wanting a high speed charger for my ipad. A female member of staff was incredibly rude to me, called me a liar when i told her that my new little used ipad was taking many hours to charge and walked off because i didnt want a lightning cable. I have bought many computers and ipads at this store as well as all my household appliances but I will never visit again. This member of staff was rude and really insulting. Left me quite upset.

Nipped into the Penzance store whilst down on holiday for a T.V ,I was welcomed by the most loviest and helpful salesman I have ever met excellent sales skills and not pushy at all. I did not get his name only that his wife also worked in the same store, she was also very helpful , he is a credit to the branch and his friendly personality was just great .

Went to this store today to buy a Dyson fan, the staff are totally disinterested!
And this isn?t the first time they?ve been like that!
Their body language says it all!
I won?t be visiting this store again!!

Next day went to get help swapping oner old to new laptop , staff different and not helpful at all, left and got a friend to help us !

I usually visit the Truro branch but happened to be in Penzance so dropped in, armed with a tape measure, to check the measurements of some fridges/freezers I'd seen online. I have an awkwardly shaped kitchen so every millimetre counts! On entry, two members of staff were stood in the entrance, one of whom immediately asked if I needed help. Being unfamiliar with the store I simply said I was looking for fridge freezers but then I saw where they were. She accompanied me, asking numerous questions and offering to look for products online (which I told her I'd already done and wasn't the purpose of my visit). I knew what I was looking for and didn't need her help. She gave me completely incorrect information, stating that all undercounter fridges are 85cm tall (which I knew they weren't) and after pointing out that one was visibly shorter than the others, and measuring it to prove that, she finally left me alone. However, by this time, I was feeling quite stressed. I suffer with social anxiety disorder and just wanted to be left alone to look at appliances in peace (which I'm able to do at Truro). Once done, I attempted to exit the store, only to have to manouvre my way past 5 members of staff stood across the exit like a picket line! I actually felt quite unwell after leaving, heart rate was up and I was sweating. I will never visit this store again.

Absolutely stellar customer service from Donna and Sam, who helped my mum upgrade her iPhone and then helped again the next day when we had problems transferring her data over. They were so kind and patient and went above and beyond to help.
The same can't be said for another member of staff (shame I could not get his name) who was quite astonishingly rude and unpleasant when asked for advice, saying he could not give advice without charging for it!! (despite us being the only customers in the shop at the time and having just spent £500).
Anyway, thanks again to the lovely Donna and Sam for being absolutely brilliant!!

Just went into Curry's Penzance to buy a TV.
Not one member of the 4 staff standing chatting in the entrance, asked if we needed any help. We left, not one word, hello, goodbye, no acknowledgement whatsoever.
Amazon wins again.

Out of 6 items I wanted online but available to collect from the store for free only 1 item was available. Penzance has very limited stock . They don't get stuff from other stores for you either. Try elsewhere first.

In branch customer service was garbage. Did everything they could not to help, everything was too much like hard work. And every situation was approached negatively. As a customer service manager myself if my staff were like any of these I?ve encountered today, I?d be looking for new ones?.
Also, very clearly a pricing issue - but rather than admitting that, and even refusing to sell the item. They lied to our face and told us they were out of stock and only had a more expensive alternative.
It wasn?t until I left the store and googled the product I was after - I realised they were priced cheaper in store. And the ?more expensive alternative? was the one I actually wanted!

Just spent £1000 yesterday in penzance branch and came back to spend more today on a bluetooth speaker, based on today's experience I ended walking out due to lack of store support. When someone finally took some sort of interest I told them to forget it. If you know what you want and order it from their website to collect it, it's great but when you need service in the branch that's where they fail. Customer service is nothing it used to be. In future I'll just order online as staff don't show much interest.
