“Londis and a post office which also sells some wonderful flapjacks and cakes made by a local cafe shop owner. Worth going for the salted caramel flapjacks alone. Plenty of ice, bbq goods and local butchers meats all topped of by lovely and friendly staff.”

“I absolutely loved staying here with my mum and dad and did not want to leave. (We left this morning, having stayed at meadowside) it was so clean and very accommodating. I absolutely love farming as an older teen and so being on a farm was an absolute blessing and seeing the tractors, chickens, goats and other Animals every day was the best. Coco, one of the farm dogs. Came and greeted us every day and i loved him. He loved the fuss, I’ll miss him so much! My Parents have booked meadowside for the same time next year and I have reserved a glamping tent too for me and my partner which I look forward to. Homemade scones on arrival / when leaving were gorgeous and everyone was so welcoming and kind. Looking forward to coming again next year, thank you! ?”

“A decent local business. Selection is obviously less than the big supermarkets in Penzance but service is better and they were fantastic throughout the Covid19 pandemic”

“It's a Co-Op. Large enough to feed arriving sailors and well visited by the local inhabitants. Opening hours far exceed everything in this area. They do sell fresh produce in the morning.”

“This is by far the best co op in Penzance! You can always find everything you need and they have a good vegetarian range too. I never have to queue here because they have 3 self service tills as well as a row of cashiers too.”

“A decent size Tesco Superstore offering a wide range of groceries and household items for reasonable prices (but remember to take your Clubcard). There is a fairly large car park here with disabled and 'parent and child' parking spaces near the shop entrance, as well as a couple of electric vehicle charging points.”

“To all the people moaning, activate your club card before you go in the shop it's not t their responsibility to provide you with WiFi 24/7, also I've never had any problems with the checkout staff they've always seemed polite and helpful. Too many whingers and moaners.”
