“It's a Co-Op. Large enough to feed arriving sailors and well visited by the local inhabitants. Opening hours far exceed everything in this area. They do sell fresh produce in the morning.”
“This is in a great location for a quick shop after a visit to Acorn Theatre. Often there on a Sunday so a grocery open til 11pm on a Sunday is great. Just remember to put a bag in your pocket before show! ?”
“The co-op store in Botallak is not very big but the heart of their local people makes it big and an enjoyable place to go shopping.Whoever we met in that shop was very nice, friendly and VERY VERY helpful.Thank you very much ?, we won't forget you. :-)As far as I remember the shop closes at 10 pm Monday - Saturday.And parking spaces you can find close by.”

“What a brilliant shop and post office. We visited twice and found everything on our shopping list, post a letter and withdraw cash. Very friendly. Would recommend trying this rather than travelling to Penzance for shopping if you are in this part of Cornwall.”
“just got back from a fantastic 4 days at Borah Farm, having stayed previsouly in Bew cottage which was brilliant.we stayed in Tremornah Cottage,Wow what a cottage or converted barn, spacious spotlessly clean on arrival along with a nice cream tea and flowers, Margaret and her family could not be more helpful and friendly, a place you would want to come back again again, thank you for a great stay.”

“I've submitted an edit. It's not a superstore (not by name on outside, nor selection of stock. I found limited variety compared to other tesco stores and definitely not as much selection as tesco superstores elsewhere. Helston is larger too, from memory, if near enough on your travels.
It's OK but not great”

“Went down to Lands End for the day and found this place by accident. The pasties are amazing! Don't see how I'm going to be able to find anything nicer, even in Cornwall. Roughly a 410 mile drive to get another once I go back home, but I'd still be tempted.”

“New store to Praa Sands. As a motorhomer this is great for daily conveniences. Great range of products - everything we needed. Great freshly baked bread, pastries, pasties and fresh coffee! Really friendly staff. Glad it has opened up!”

“This, in my opinion, is the best fish & chip shop in Penzance. The chips are always well cooked and the fish is freshly cooked to order. It is also moist and the batter is not too heavy. The quality is very consistent. Well worth a visit!”
