Pitstop fitted me in quickly, offered me a courtesy car, and then did the repair work so quickly that I didn't need the courtesy car. Very reasonable price, and they were very nice throughout. I feel very grateful, they turned what could have been a horrible experience into a pleasant morning.”

“I've been to this garage twice now and will continue to go back. Every time booking has been easy, service has been clear and effective, and prices have been provided upfront and are very reasonable - both times much cheaper than garages I've previously gone to.In addition to this, customer service has been polite, efficient and respectful. As a woman, it can be difficult to find a place which doesn't assume my ignorance or speak condescendingly when explaining the work required but I've found that Halfords have been informative and courteous. I've also received updates on the work being done, including an estimation of when I'll be able to collect the car, how much it's likely to cost prior to doing the work, and a phonecall/email when it's ready to collect. There have been no attempts to find unnecessary faults or upsell and on my first visit I also received a report afterwards on potential upcoming issues to keep an eye on.Prices have been very fair and service has been incredibly efficient. Even when they've needed to order parts, the work has been completed either later on the same day or the very next day. I really appreciate this as it means you can take your car there without the worry of not getting it back for several days or weeks, although it's possible that could just depend on the work needed. When keeping the car until the next day, I was called and consulted first as it was still driveable and they were aware that I might've needed it in the meantime - I was happy to leave it with them but really appreciate this aspect of the service.My car has always been returned to me in good condition and it's a very hassle-free service.
