My wife and I went in. I was looking at some vintage books you have there. I noticed another part of the shop through a wide opening, no door and could see other items. A young lady was in this back area of the shop. Maybe she was pricing. When I finished looking at a book I wandered in and (no signs saying stop or similar ) and the young tall lady came at me wafting her arms about like she was warding away a goat and said " this area is not accessable you are not allowed in here!". Bizarre it really was. It was a rehersed act I could tell.

Visited Penzance BHF store on Monday 13.11.2023 around 3.30pm - older female member of staff made a very rude comment about a horrible smell being in the shop and then looked at me, she also was putting coats out which stopped me being able to look at the merchandise - not the friendliest service!

Clean and tidy but silly price on DVDs. Way over what you can pick them up on EBay for. I?m all for charity and have donated to this branch many times but some of the prices being asked are far too high. Even with a 3 for 2 deal today it still wasn?t worth it when single films were being sold at £3.99+. Would have bought 7/8 films fox?s j if priced competitively with its neighbouring charity shops
