It's not often using your local bank becomes a truly positive experience but such was my experience here yesterday.
From the warm greeting on entering the bank to a quick and common-sense solution to a knotty problem, I was truly impressed by the service I received. I wish I knew the name of the lady who helped (longish dark hair) but she and Gavin went above and beyond to find a friction-free work around for me. Thank you!

My 2nd review/ . Absolute full marks going that extra mile for taking me through the steps of opening a euro account so I can extract my money from my French bank ( sending it online to this euro account) therefore enabling me to keep it in euros in the UK with Barclays. I can then exchange when the rate is more favourable into sterling.
1st review/ Extremely courteous in helping me open up a new account having arrived from another country, I could not fault their professionalism and at the same time being most helpful. HSBC in comparison were appalling.

I popped into Barclays Penzance this morning on the off chance to ask questions about my accounts and i can not fault Gavin for his helpful, customer first attitude and his product knolage, what a great asset to Barclays bank he is. I find it easyer to understand when speeking face to face with a member of staff than talking to a call centre, and the staff at penzance never fail to take the time to help and explain.
