Shell Services, Fraddon, Cornwall. 1/8/2025 - Responding to the warning light showing a tyre issue, I stopped here to find an airline. The coin slot was blocked, I tried staying calm with miles to go still. The lady in the shop could not have been more helpful. Out she came in her dayglo yellow jacket. Luckily, she pointed me towards another airline in a different part of the layout. I was such an incompetent and messed up while trying not to have a panic attack. It seems like overreacting now but my PTSD brain was stirring.
The lovely lady fixed the tyres for me and chatted to me throughout. I have forgotten her name, though the initials EG are in my mind. BIG SHOUT to her, she deserves a bonus ?

Stopped at this garage after being turned away from the disabled toilet facilities at ESSO near Redruth. The ladies toilet here was clean and well equipped. Steven was extremely helpful and went on to the shop floor to look for both the chocolate and the USB cigarette charger I was looking for (possibly when he observed that I was with a young severely autistic boy - my son). Such a different experience when people are helpful and courteous to you at the end of a long week away from home! Thank you Shell

I visited this morning to fuel my car up on pump 1 and the floor was a wash with slippery fuel residue.....
My shoes were coated so heavily in fuel i had to stop and clean my floor mat and car peddles as they were slippery due to the amount of fuel i picked up on my feet at pump 1. This needs a thorough clean imediately before somebody has a slip fall or accident.

Charged my car at one of the charging points it used to be you had to have and RFID card to activate but good to see shell now accepts contactless.
Went into the petrol station and received great service by the gent working 19:00 on the 18th July, gave me some great advice about addition car charging options in Cornwall

The electric charge point states 175kw however I?m mainly getting 23kw which is extremely poor considering it?s 65p perkw I was expecting for it to achieve Atleast 80kw. There are 2 charge pods however only one works so be prepared to wait extremely disappointing as I made my travel arrangements around this charge point to ensure my ev anxiety doesn?t take over!

Spent £40 on pies (x5) and drinks and £70 on petrol ran back in for a cup of wedges we forgot, they are 1£ with a purchase of a pie, say £1.49 on the label, but was being charged £1.60. I asked about the discount with a pie and was told it was too late. I left without the £1 wedged and will not be using the garage again. Obviously no regard for sustomers in store, begrudging a 50p discount after more than £110 spent in yhe garage.

DO NOT GO HERE. MOST EXPENSIVE FUEL IN CORNWALL. 20p a litre more than normal prices is fleecing the motorist.
