I recently went to the shin inn for a Sunday lunch with my family and friends, I was impressed by the food and also our waiter who was called Theo. He was a rather young lad but was still extremely capable of everything he was asked, he is also a lovely person to have a genuine conversation with.

Delighted to find The Ship Inn now offers superb breakfasts, becoming the new favourite 'go to' after the closure of our previous regular venue. Excellent value and a beautifully cooked grill selection from quality ingredients, the vegetarian options are just as tasty as the regular full English, along with excellent coffee on the menu. The staff and kitchen team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and also operate a dog friendly policy for walkers.A beautifully appointed and well kept traditional style Cornish inn situated by the entrance to Par beach, The Ship Inn makes a fabulous setting for a delicious early breakfast with the chance for a good amble along the beach to work the pounds off afterwards. Excellent venue, fabulous food and great service all highly recommended.

We came in for a quiet drink and a spot of lunch, only to find the weather outside warmer than inside? everyone in their coats. No fire going, no heating even on.Straws seemed to be cut in half to save money? bar lady had her hands up her sleeves she was so cold.Needless to say we knocked our drinks back and left before hypothermia set in.Thawed out in the car before driving off, teeth chattering. Won?t be coming back until summer, when I?ll be happy to cool off indoors.Pros- J20 was wet.

Visited during the summer, nice beer garden but ordered a chicken & bacon sandwich and was presented with the sorriest excuse for a sandwich I've ever seen no chunks of bacon or chicken, just the thinnest spreadof I don't know what on the cheapest, thin bread you can imagine, a few weeks later we went for the breakfast and heard someone complaining at the bar that the bread had mould on it.The pub itself has a lot of potential but the food is very average but the prices are not, greedy landlord syndrome to be honest. If you put as much effort into consistency and quality of the food you send out as you doInto your complete denial responses to negative reviews things might actually improve,Your consistent 1 and 2 star reviews speak volumes.Fine to visit for a pint, but look elsewhere for good atmosphere & good food

Going to do an honest review as I really do like this place, the staff are very attentive and friendly so no complaints there, a particular lady that served me at the bar was wonderful, my husband said she poured his pint of Guinness to perfection! We had booked a table for 1:30 but arrived earlier however this wasn?t a problem and we were seated immediately, no one brought menus over nor were there any on the table so we had to go get them at the bar which is absolutely fine I understand a lot of pubs do this differently depending on their type of table service. Most of us had the carvery which had a lot of nice options and was a great size for the price. The beef was a little dry, possibly due to having already been carved and sat on the hot plate, instead of being carved just before serving, the gammon however was cooked to perfection, very moist and full of flavour. The stuffing was quite dry also, really lovely flavour just a bit too solid for my tastes. All the veg on offer was fantastic especially the cauliflower cheese ?? only really the leeks I found a bit watery. Overall its in a great location with a fantastic beer garden, would definitely come here to eat again, perhaps off of the main menu as the choice was quite good!

I recently dined at a charming restaurant The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, and I opted for the chef's special, a delightful fusion of flavors that left my taste buds pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Savor Delights is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking a culinary adventure in a welcoming atmosphere.
