We had a fabulous stay here in a silver pet friendly caravan. Reception staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We went to the cafe for dinner, guy there was brilliant, food was fab, just what was needed after the drive from Kent. Stayed 4 nights, saw loads, went out loads, great time. Pool is small with a max number of 14 at this time of year, that was fine. Steam room was lovely. Quiet park, fab beach. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic holiday park on a dog friendly beach. Staff very friendly, accommodation spotless and new/modern. Great location within a few steps of a all year round dog friendly beach (no life guards).
Has a leisure centre with swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts, play ground, crazy golf and a all weather courts.
Cafe onsite open 9am-8pm selling refreshments, sandwiches and pizzas.
No club house or evening entertainment but local pubs within walking distance that provide entertainment, live bands etc.
Highly recommend this place.

We have been extremely disappointed in our stay. Not only does the pictures on the website not reflect the true state of the caravan the facilities are impossible to book. We booked a silver + with decking and the pictures online look relatively nice. Granted not to a super high standard but a lot nicer than what we got. There are stains on the sofa and buttons missing, a rotting radiator in the bathroom, dirty carpets and dirt behind the toilet etc. Yes this is a dog friendly accommodation but it should not be this way. Yes they need to use pictures but they don?t compare at all and I will upload pictures once our belongings are out of the caravan to show the drastic difference in the falsely advertised images and what we got.
All my son also wanted to do this week was book the swimming. Which has been impossible. We have not been able to go at all as a family.
I?ve reported this all to reception twice but they were unhelpful and to be blunt pretty useless.
We were told we should have booked our swimming at check in but after a 7 hour drive with a child a young puppy this was not first on our mind when we arrived Monday night. First thing Tuesday morning we tried to sort the swimming and was told there was no slots to go as a family. We were also told by reception this is a free extra, which I would strongly disagree with as this is part of the package you pay for and will be funded by the money guests pay to stay. We booked this site for the facilities and have been let down. There are families who booked for everyday upon check in it seems and reception told us this is just how it works and the fairest way to do it. If it?s that fully booked it should be limited to so many swim sessions per stay so everyone has the chance to swim at least once.
It?s certainly somewhere we won?t be returning to again and not worth the price they charge. We go away in the UK regularly and have never felt the need to leave a negative review but unfortunately on this occasion I think others need to be aware of what they?re getting.

Not recommended. Even it doesn?t deserve 1 star. Bad services particularly in swimming pool.

Just spent 3 very enjoyable weeks at Par Sands in our caravan. Would like to compliment the staff on their helpfulness and friendly attitude especially the maintenance crew , one of whom , Andy, was really helpful sorting out a problem with our satellite dish.

Quiet, well positioned and relatively small, with a huge bonus being that it is dog friendly!
It's a peaceful park that still has decent facilities and a fair bit going on nearby, a train station with quick links to Newquay, Plymouth and Penzance, plenty of takeaways if you don't want to cook, the Eden Project on its doorstep, and the park itself is a short hop over a sand dune to a large, sandy (sometimes seaweedy) beach.
A small pool (which you will need to book at least a day in advance for), tennis courts and a cafe, plus a whole lot of rabbits if you're up for an early walk.
Dogs being welcome at both the site and beach makes it an excellent option for dog families - everyone gets to have a holiday!

Easy to get to and you have the beach directly across the road. They have a cafe and swimming pool with two shops for essentials. The location is so good and not far away is a Lidl?s and Tesco and even closer is a spar and coop. So clean here and so peaceful even though this appears to be a family friendly place.

I recently stayed at Par Sands with my husband and dog. The caravan was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The park was perfect for our holiday, right next to a lovely beach, which the dog enjoyed for his walks. The staff are friendly and gave us lots of information of places to visit and where to go for good food, can't fault, wished I had stayed longer. Thank you ??
