Really fun and riveting experience with so many different plants species inside the two biomes. They have these birds called roul-rouls that walk up and down the path right next to you in the Rainforest biome. The gift shop has different sections is really fun with cool unique gifts and it is huge. Plus it is very warm inside the biomes!

I came here in 2022 with my wife as part of our wedding honeymoon. A truly beautiful imaginative location and setting for anybody interested in geographical diversity.Actually located in a China clay pit and consists of various domes encompassing different climates. From the Rainforest dome to the Mediterranean Biome it has something for everyone.

Good experience but probably not worth doing it in February. There wasn't basically anything to see outside, plenty to see in the baubles tho! We went there with the lottery tickets so the entry was free, but I'm not sure if we'd end up going if we had to spend 35£ per person. That's a lot money.A big thank you for Beth who did a great talk about baobabs and producing chocolate. She's super knowledgeable and excited about her job and the plants, she answered all of our questions and let us taste the cocoa and baobab powder.

Just love the Eden Project! I keep coming back.Biomes are amazing.Food is delicious. Don?t bother bringing your own sandwiches!Try and go to a music event there- well worth it.Generally l hate gift shops but Eden Project always has an interesting array of very different gifts and clothing. Love their distinctive organic cotton tee shirts!

pretty place to visit in summer

It was a very long walk even in a wheelchair from the car park to the Domes. There was no shelter to walk under except a short part near the tickets office. It was a very wet day and very cold which made the visit more miserable. I know it was January but thought it would be better considering how much you have to pay to get inside. All in all quite disappointed as the domes were supposed to be hot and weren?t so again got chilled . Lots of staff but too busy talking to each other . Sorry just putting what we found

Very great place to know a lot about biodiversity, ecology, habitat, and a lot more other about our environment. Kids & adults get a great chance to learn about the environment and ecology if you are into them. They sell lots of various plants that can grow in various environments. The place has huge parking spaces. Every biome is accessible for wheel chair.

6 years in the UK and I just found out about this place a month ago ?What a marvelous man made beauty! Was stunned by the place. While it's a huge green house, the colossal size makes it unique. You simply get transported into tropical jungles and get to experience the weather, smell and see the real vegetation directly. All this in the UK during a cold winter afternoon. We were sweating due to humidity inside and enjoying the experience inside.Must be on the goto list for everyone...

Simply amazing and breathtaking; it is hard to believe that this site in 2000 was a sterile clay pit. Quite easy to get here by public transport from St Austell, take the 31 bus for a £3 day return. The last bus is at 5:30 and the project closes at 4 pm. Amazing collection of wild and cultivated landscapes, exhibits and artworks ( there is an Ai Weiwei sculpture of a giant Brazilian tree root in cast iron); the Rainforest Biome is pretty amazing with plants and stories India, Africa etc There are great interactive physical (non digital quizzes about spices). Indoor waterfalls are breathtaking. I found the Invisible Worlds centre a bit underwhelming but it was mostly activities to engage with school children. Lots and lots of school parties. Unmissable & lots of plants and seeds on sale. Very friendly robins.

Fantastic! The Eden project is an amazing preservation of culture and environment. Being in the Rain forest biome was the best feeling I?ve had all winter! The details in terms of replication of the temperature, soil, plants, etc is extremely commendable. The Mediterranean biome was also impressive. I intend to visit this project again to explore all the other parts of this amazing creation.

Tickets are costly but if you assume it as a donation to a cause and intend to visit it many times in a year (unlimited entry for a year once ticket purchased- even though I haven't tested this myself), it's a good deal. Above all, it's a beautiful place to visit. Most striking feature is how well they have restored and maintained a place. All the biomes are quite educational, specially tropical rainforest one. You can easily spend a day here, with great shopping centre and cafe.

Honestly loved it, but, £35 pounds off peak and £40 peak per adult I thought was eye watering. Yes, inside it is beautiful, but, I still cant see what justifies such a hefty entrance fee. But this is my personal view of course.Inside the biomes is a beautiful environment, 30 degrees, so use the handy coat racks before you go in, you will be very hot, and that's in the dead of winter, in summer, I imagine it's unbearable. They do have cooling stations and water dispensers, they weren't very well marked though in my opinion. To walk around the first biome on the left as your enter took us roughly 1 hour, and that was taking our time, taking pictures etc. There are only so many plants you can look at in wonder before you go, "yep, it's another tree" etc. The second biome to the right as you enter took less to wander round, again, you kinda figure that it's pretty much the same old same old. This is why I cannot figure out why they can justify that eye watering entrance fee. But, again, this is MY opinion. You could spend the day there, in the summer. There are other things to do, zip line and ice skating were two of the things on offer on a Sunday in January when we went. From what we saw, the ice skating was £9 for an adult for 40 minutes, reasonable? Didn't see the price of the zip line to be fair, so Google before you go as I think most things are add ons that you have to pay for on top of your entrance fee.Yes, it's beautiful, and I get that all money helps different environmental areas, but, I still think that in this day and age where a lot of people are struggling financially, the entrance fee will put those off wanting to see the beauty there, and that's a shame, as it's one of those places that you should see once
