I was walking the SWCP and I needed to get a new sleeping bag as my old one wasn't up to snuff.To say the manager, Louise, went above and beyond is an understatement. She found me the bag I needed and even helped me wrap and address my old sleeping bag to post home. She let me leave my gear in the store as I darted off to the post office.I should also mention that the customer assistant on that day was also great and checked online for the post office opening times to make sure I wouldn't be left waiting in the rain. I should have asked his name too in hindsight.Anyway, I have been in many Mountain Warehouses and the Padstow branch is a beacon of excellence. Not only did I get the help I needed, but it genuinely became an important moment of my holiday and all thanks to Louise and her wonderful staff.Thank youPhil

I walked into this store late one afternoon, looking for a tent. As a small store, they don't stock them, but when the manager realised my predicament- my previous tent had broken overnight and I needed a tent to camp that night - she went well above and beyond to help me. She and the shop assistant tracked down a tent in stock at a nearby Mountain Warehouse and she drove over to pick it up for me. She and the store assistant both stayed beyond shop opening hours to make sure I was sorted. Fantastic service which means I will definitely steer towards Mountain Warehouse in the future. Thank you to those kind souls!The two man, extra long backpacking tent I bought is decent too, with plenty of space for me and my dog!

Walked into the store with my young son for the store staff to instantly bark at him to not eat in store (he wasn?t, his half eaten croissant was in its paper bag) and then didn?t challenge a woman with a bag of chips. Several dogs then were allowed in, 1 of which was unaccompanied by its owner. Dogs were way more welcome than well behaved children.This store only helped to give me a very sour opinion of Padstow. We will not be back.
