A proper dining experience. All locally sourced, in-season food. No pretense in the delivery, but absolutely delicious. Couldn't recommend it more and will definitely be coming back. They managed to fit us in later on in the evening despite having no booking. Thanks for a great evening, well worth the wait!

A lot of hype on this place and I get it it has the hallmarks of a idyllic village hot spot but the food was so so, the beans, pasta, sea bass and mozzarella were all quite average. I absolutely loved this restaurant. Its setting is tucked away in a courtyard next to a lovely wine bar. So cosy and atmospheric with amazing service, they go through the menu and recommend unique, natural wines you wouldn’t otherwise try. A small restaurant in the heart of Newquay within The Cribbar Yard. Serving small plates, locally caught seafood, hand rolled pasta and beautiful desserts. Founded by Chefs Adam Banks and Mariana Chaves, Verbena offers a seasonal menu focussed on high quality produce from local suppliers along with a selection of low intervention wines and local craft beers. Dinner service Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
