Large group no one was overly impressed by the food. Small portions yet pricey. Service was okay but not the best venue Newquay has on offer. Would not come back.

Visited for an impromptu choice for Sunday lunch
By far the best vegetarian Sunday Lunch I've had for some time. So nice that somewhere offers vegetarian as well as vegan these days rather than lumping non meat eaters together ( many non meat eaters still want cheese!)
The roulade was lovely, all elements of the meal were of great quality, and you could taste that. Also plenty of gravy too, which is always a welcome touch.
Great quality, well made, this is now top of my Sunday list.?

Absolute great find in Newquay, mini golf I didn't try but the fried lasagne, steak and wine I certainly did! Wonderful amazing table service which I love and great wine to boot! Dog friendly outside and what more can you ask?!

Hidden Gem!
Really unique,cosy little place, staff are very friendly as soon as you walk in. 2 adults had 2 mains, 2 desserts and 3 soft drinks for £40. Fairly priced compared to alot of other places we've visited.
So...the food...where do I start!
Absolutely fantastic, the spot light was my fiancé's spaghetti and meatballs. May sound basic, however, it's his all time favourite dish and it was by far the best one he's ever had. We almost had to get him a 2nd serving! I had the chicken ceasar and again, best one I've ever seen and eaten. Finished it off with bread and butter pudding. The flavours from every dish were just spot on, I feel like we'll never eat at another place as good as Rosa.
They've bagged themselves a fantastic chef. We'll certainly be back here when we next visit cornwall

Someone asked on a Facebook group where is the best Sunday roast in Newquay and Rosa was mentioned. So I booked and wow it sure was worth it. Nicely different in that some vegetables are served in a hot side bowl and gravy in your own hot jug, which I appreciated, not everything piled onto the plate. The red cabbage soft and sweet, the large carrot cooked through and just perfect, the cauliflower cheese yummy and the potatoes roasted just right, crunchy on the outside, soft and juicy inside. I had the vegetarian mushroom and spinach ricotta roulade which was also very delicious. The roast beef apparently perfectly cooked too. Everything was just so tasty. Complements to the chef for sure. Staff attentive and the restaurant soon filled up even in gale force winds and rain outside today. An enjoyable meal means I?ll pay the price for the pleasure.

recommended to try, wow, we weren't disappointed.
Small menu but adequate, and what you get was fantastic.
I would highly recommend this place for an evening meal , and I will definitely be visiting on our next stay in Newquay.
The staff were extremely polite and helpful.

It's a nice place to eat, but the service was shocking. I understand that it's the summer season, but the high number of staff present and the lack of attentiveness towards customers were terrible. Waited over 20 minutes to just receive a menu and then a further 20 to get our drinks. We were just about to leave when they finally took our order, which came out in dribs and drabs.
