Nothing like a bit of racism!! The place was empty ,and they told us we couldn't have a table because they were so busy!!! With empty tables everywhere. A party was arriving, they said. we asked when..an hour and a half later!!! We weren't exactly surprised though...

Great evening at this Amazing venue.
Forgot how great this place is as it?s nearly ten years since I last visited.
The restaurant has fantastic views overlooking Newquay bay.
The atmosphere in the evening is cosey yet sophisticated.
And the food is also top notch.I went for the mixed salad,BBQ burnt ends Romana pizza and sticky toffee pudding, all of which went down a treat.
Service was good,there were plenty of staff milling around and prices were very reasonable I thought.
I definitely won?t be leaving it so long since my last visit to return to this Newquay Gem X

Very friendly staff, the views from the restaurant are amazing, and it is nice to sit outside and look at the beach. It's even nice to sit inside on a rainy day. The pizzas are always cooked very well and extremely delicious. I often order for collection and the pizzas have always been perfectly cooked. I gave 4 stars, only because on a few occasions when I?ve collected my pizza (at the allocated collection time), it has been slightly cold. Apart from this minor issue, I really like the pizzas and I would highly recommend the Gluten Free (GF) pizzas, as they are easy on the stomach. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves a great pizza.

I've been to a lot of Pizza Expresses in my time and this one is right up there with the very best.
Amazing location on top of the cliffs and outstanding view out over the ocean. There is some outdoor seating as well, but it wasn't being used when we were there as was a bit chilly...
Pizzas just as expected and service with a smile. Don't forget to join the rewards club for a whole host of savings.
Kid-friendliness: There is a good kids menu for £7.50 you get dough ball starter with some salad, small pizza or pasta and a dessert.

Stood waiting to be seated for long time with kids. Poor service. Forgot anything to table. Pizza arrived 40min later. App focused with then makes meal unsociable.
