A lovely little cafe with exactly what you want ? great coffee, tasty food that?s really good value, and genuinely friendly staff. The view lives up to the name as well; you could happily sit there for ages just taking it in. Perfect for people watching.

An honest review.
TLDR: Some great attitude and body language, and some appalling attitude.
Some great food and some disappointing food. Felt really expensive for what it was 2/5.
After taking an hour to park due to large amounts of tourism, we just wanted somewhere quick and easy for lunch.
The young lady who served us was lovely and had a really welcoming smile. It was exactly what we needed.
However, the rest of the staff?s body language and tones were unpleasant.
Parents will risk assess their own children. I know some parents would kick up a fuss if their child fell from a chair and blame the cafe, however, it felt patronising to have 3 separate reminders of ?would you mind telling the little one to sit down, we don?t want her to fall on the uneven floor?, alongside some of the staff watching from the kitchen door with a frown for most of the time we were there. She was totally fine, not remotely slipping and I checked if the chair was wobbly. It wasn?t. My toddler also spilled quite a lot of orange juice, which did make a mess. The staff brought out some blue roll and hovered around the table over me whilst I cleaned it up, they were visibly upset and concerned about the mess, which made me feel like I was being towered over. I asked them to leave me to it, which thankfully was respected but stressed parents don?t want people hovering over them. Paired with the earlier patronisation, it felt very unwelcoming.
We ordered a chicken tikka jacket potato, two pancakes with bacon, a panini, an iced tea and three bottles of orange juice, which came to just shy of £45.
The chicken tikka is actually just dry chicken pieces with chicken tikka powder sprinkled on. No butter on the jacket potato. Had to smother it in garlic mayo. Which wasn?t disgusting but really disappointing for £8.30. If it had been a chicken tikka curry topping, it would have been fantastic.
We paid less for three dishes of high quality tapas and two well cooked home made children?s meals and 4 cokes at a restaurant in St Ives.
The bacon and pancakes were actually really great and you can tell they source out quality bacon. They provided child friendly cutlery for them too, which was a nice touch.
The panini (just under £8) was under filled and didn?t taste of much. We had to order and pay for a separate side salad, which for £2.50, felt ridiculous being as it was a very small collection of leaves, three slices of cucumber, two slivers of tomato, and 1/3 bag of crisps.
All in all, maybe we ordered the wrong things and some of the other food is better but the poor attitudes of the staff mean we wouldn?t bother going again.

Absolutely amazing, can?t say a bad thing about this place, staff are lovely, me and my fiancée come here each time we?re on holiday and it gets better each time. I definitely recommend this place.

We came here for lunch today. We were welcomed by really friendly staff. You had a wonderful view of the beach and a wide variety of food to choose from. I had a feta cheese bap with no butter. I was really impressed by the staff member checking if I had an allergy or if it was preference. It was preference as I didn't have an allergy but really impressed with their care and attention. My husband had a very generous breakfast. We both had tea and they had de caff tea as well..the service was brilliant. A real gem of a place in Newquay they deserve to do well.

Breakfast is nice ?. As you?d expect really, maybe a little on the higher price side of things given the volume of food, but it has a nice view and friendly accommodative staff?.. worth a try I?d happily go back ? I?ve just dropped a star for the pricing compared to other breakfasts across Cornwall.

What a wonderful place to eat. Full English, scrambled eggs on toast and pancakes with bacon and syrup. Lovely view, amazing service. Food was as good as it gets. Totally recommended.

Wonderful little cafe! We stumbled upon this one whilst trying to find somewhere for lunch, the staff were super friendly and helpful including giving us some books and coloring books to distract our 2.5yr old.
They had a large table reserved for families - Which I thought was a brilliant idea!!(I think more places should do this)
The food was very nice, we ordered kids pasta, veggie breakfast and a bacon,sausage&egg bap. All went down extremely well and the prices were extremely fair!
Staff helped us at every opportunity and nothing was too much!
With the kids meal they had kids cutlery and a separate plate to assist with cooling the food! Very well thought out!

We came here twice for breakfast. We had the big full English the first time. Such a big portion if you're hungry! It's the perfect little gem on the main street through Newquay for a proper breakfast. You won't be disappointed!

Me and my partner came to Newquay to camp and we really fancied a proper ?home cooked? style breakfast. We came across this cafe in the town centre and the food was a 10/10. The staff were so amazing too? A lady was training a new staff member and she was really good with her. Will definitely be returning and would recommend.
