Went here for an evening meal, couldn't fault it. Tasty and good portion size. Very friendly staff, good choice of drinks and not expensive.Being the evening we didn't take advantage of the location, but it's close to the river in a lovely wooded valley with lots of good walks to work off the food.

Wonderful staff could not do enough for our party of 12. We had a lovely meal with hot plates which was great. Food was amazing and not much left on anybody's plate only those that could not eat it all. Thank you and very good value.Food & drinks: Lovely food and drinks were very good selection.

Pleasantly surprised, found this pub by chance, friendly welcome, good ale and a lovely homemade steak pie. Definitely on our list of favourites???

Had a lovely meal after a walk here. Really nice cosy pub. Staff lovely. Log burner burning lots of seating areas. Nice patio for outsìde. Beutiful place. Will be returning again was so nice. There is even accomadation and breakfast to stay.Walkability: Stunning area with 5 differerant walks from 6 miles to shorter routes. Differant terraines to suit easy to harder walks.

A nice relaxing pub very difficult to reach by public transport. We arrived on the once a week 482 bus that stops right outside from Lostwithial. Lovely Chesterfield sofas are there to relax in in the left hand room and the pub serves 4 well kept Cornish Real Ales. There is a nice sunny garden and at the bottom of the road towards the River Fowey there are stepping stones and and bridge to cross to the other side where there is a lovely path tho walk alongside the estuary.
