We parked our car in front the hotel, (reserved place for guests). Some weeks after, we receveid a fine because we didn't enter our car registration number when checking in. At the reception desk nobody asked us about our car or provided any information on the parking spaces. We wrote to the hotel asking to have the fine deleted, but they didn't help us.
Everything else is comfortable: room, bathroom, dinner and breakfast.

Popped in for dinner. Saturday evening.
Band in the garden.. very ?.
Dining room... Great view of the church and beyond.
Food, pub style and very good.. I was full and happy.!
Service.. Emma runs the restaurant side, and she is really very charming.. actually AWESOME ;-) and laughing here, we said to her she would be receive the credit where due!.. What a great ambassador for this pub and the friendly folk of Lostwithiel in general.

Wonderfully warm welcome on a very wet day.
Staff were friendly and accommodating, plenty of choice on the menu. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were down visiting family but would definitely return next time we're in the area.

Lovely local pub, friendly staff and great food. Parking can be a bit tight if busy. Rooms are cosy and clean but if you are looking to go to bed before midnight, this place is not for you. There is no escaping all of the noise from the beer garden as the rooms overlook and the window in my room did not shut. Very noisy and no chance of getting any sleep until everyone goes home. Definitely not ideal if you have to get up early the next day.

2 night stay.
Friendly welcome & staff helpful.
Bed was comfortable & shower was adequate - needed a bit of renewal around the shower/sink area.
Bedroom in general was tired & needs a facelift - especially the wallpaper.
Food is good & wholesome, breakfast is help yourself to cereal etc then a few choices for cooked brekkie.
Location is good for local town & to get about local area.

We had a lovely welcome and pleased with our room. Very clean, well presented and cosy. Friendly pub with attentive staff, great menu, delicious food and refreshments. Exceptional breakfast selection. Not much in the town itself but nice to wander around. Sadly, and NOT the pubs fault at all, but our car was 'keyed' down the entire passenger side whilst in their carpark. A real shame as we were enjoying Cornwall's atmosphere until then. Not a reflection of the pub but perhaps carpark CCTV might eliminate this type of thing. Just our luck and hopefully it was just a one off incident.
Rooms: Clean, cosy and comfortable. Nicely set out.
Nearby activities: Great cider and wine distillery within walking distance. Fowey distillery. Nice community hub and village green.
Noteworthy details: Visit Fowey cider, wine, rum, etc which are brewed in Lostwithiel, a little setup who give tours and tasting. Brilliant place, super helpful and friendly.
