We had a brilliant 2 night stay in the Shepherds Hut at Green Cart Farm. Everything we needed; Ben and Shonna are the best hosts. We made Gin with Shonna which was great fun and tasted delicious. A great experience and would throughly recommend if you want to try something different ?

Well what can I say! What an amazing experience! From the moment my partner and I arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Ben and Shonna were so warm, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We felt honoured to be taught by Shonna in the art of distilling our own gin and rum. Shonna was an amazing teacher and made the class so much fun. It took me back to when I did my Chemistry degree and I loved every second, from foraging for fresh ingredients from the hedgerows and herb garden to the mixing and actual distilling of our unique brews! We stayed in the beautiful tree house, something I've always wanted to do and it exceeded my dreams. The tree house was so cosy, warm, romantic and private. We were surrounded by fairy lights and it felt so magical! It was wonderful to be somewhere where all you could hear were birds, including owls, and the sound of the wind and rain pattering on the roof. We slept so deeply in the gorgeous comfy bed. We had an evening meal and breakfast delivered to us and we stayed for two nights so we were lucky to receive another delicious breakfast on the second morning before we checked our with our left over gin and rum to take home. We didn't want for anything! We also had the chance to have a row on the lake in the lovely little boat, which was close to the tree house.Thank you so much Shonna and Ben, we had a truly wonderful time and will be recommending your tree house and gin/rum experience to everyone I can.

My granddaughter treated me and her mum to the gin making experience. What a great choice. After foraging for our individual ingredients Shonna gave us the opportunity to make our own gins which were amazing. We had tea in a wonderfully cosy and warm treehouse. So relaxing and peaceful. We left with a bottle of our own gins. Highly recommended.

Loved this quaint little place. Went the long way round but once there it was a cut apothecary studio. There wasn't anyone there but looks like someone had been. It was like they were raided by Normans and needed to leave in the middle of something. Very eerie vibe but enticing and intoxicating.Potion making with Dragon's blood and unicorn tears for example. Loved it, check my pics

Unique, bespoke and one of a kind don't truly do justice to the amazing off grid set up Shona and Ben have established at Green Cart Farm. The accommodation on site has all been individually constructed to provide the perfect bolt hole to escape everyday life and recharge the batteries. The gin workshop was great and something that is unique to every group as the majority of the botanicals used come from the herb garden or local hedgerows.Be sure to pack wellies and a torch and leave the electronics at home to get the most out of this back to basics haven.

Nice place to visit the hosts are very nice. A good alternative to camping with the addition of being able to make candles, perfume, botanical spirit and gin. Natural ingredients all obtained from the grounds and herb gardens.

Ben's breakfast is good and English but Shonna's breakfast is American English Cornish and absolutely great.?When I'm back in Cornwall I'll book my cabin again. Shonna and Ben are two very warm people who didn't have any problems with my little knowledge of English Reggie and the seemingly pregnant girl?

This is an almost entirely off-grid place where Ben and Shonna work with perfumes and candle-making on their small farm, secluded from the bustle of the rest of civilisation. They have the most gorgeous cabins you can stay in, with amazing views and hospitality ? check them out on AirBnB.
