Absolutely outstanding. The location, the staff, the decor, the food were in my opinion exceptional. Special thanks to all the staff, but particularly Jack and Ruby. "Je reviens". This place is romantic, atmospheric and a hidden gem. Thank you so much to a real holiday, you guys knock the H10's in Europe off the map.

Visited Talland Bay Hotel for the New Year period and had the most fantastic experience. The hotel itself has been very thoughtfully decorated in an interesting and quirky way. Every turn you spot something you haven't seen before and it all works really well. We had a first floor room with a view to the side of the hotel which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We disappeared for breakfast each morning and by the time we returned, the bed was made and the room cleaned! The food was excellent - could not fault it, even with a dietry requirement; the team went out of their way to ensure I was really well looked after. Service was excellent. Every request met with a smile and help was quick. Expensive, yes but we don't mind paying for such a lovely experience. Thank you Talland Bay Hotel for making our stay so lovely.

A beautiful place situated overlooking the sea. Fantastic decor. Fantastic staff and to make it a complete memorable day Fantastic food. Highly recommend the afternoon tea.Food & drinks: The afternoon tea we had was made with fresh ingredients that tasted amazing. The small deserts were perfectly presented and were full of great tastes. The tea was some of the best I've had, along with the Fentimans soft drinks.

Pricey but gorgeous. Just had coffee. Lots of people having Christmas lunch. Looked like they were having a ball! The roads are very narrow with passing places so do be careful. Cheers!!!

Tried out this hotel after a recommendation and we were not disappointed it was not cheap but the best things in life rarely are! A few narrow lanes to get there but believe me it?s worth it!The staff are friendly, rooms extremely comfortable, surroundings and view fantastic and to top it all the restaurant food is absolutely TOP DRAWER. In fact some of the best food we have ever had and equal if not better than a few Michelin star restaurants we have sampled! We will definitely be going back soon.

What a lovely and stylish hotel. And in a spectacular remote coastal location, shown off to its finest when the sun puts in an appearance. Fascinating and funky artefacts around every corner ensure the decor shouts fun and frivolity. But the carefully curated attention to detail also signals a keen eye for detail. We enjoyed lunch in the conservatory, which proved the perfect location to savour the view as well as the food. Each dish was tasty and well up to expectations. The excellent service struck that difficult balance between being professional but relaxed and informal. Oh and not forgetting the gardens and grounds which provide a jaw-dropping marine vista. We can't wait for a return visit!

This hotel is a chic gem, run very professionally by Jack and his friendly team. The location overlooking the ocean perfect, the menus mouthwatering and the decor both in and out will make you smile. Even the rain failed to dampen our spirits as we sat in one of their outdoor sheds, with a glass of wine and continued to enjoy the view. We will be back next year, hopefully taking room 12 again for another long weekend.

The Talland Bay hotel was a superb addition to the hotels we had already stayed at during our trip around Cornwall and Devon. The views from this hotel are quite special and for the romantics this hotel meets the brief. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast to which the food was excellent in every way. The staff are very attentive and made us feel mist welcome.

Talland Bay Hotel it?s been too long! Returning after Covid and ill health prevented us from visiting for a little while has been a real treat. This hotel is the best. Super dog friendly and a hotel where all the team go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Their attention to detail is first class and you can be sure of a warm welcome. From the minute we arrived we were made so welcome and we feel just like one of the family. Jack, Lucy and Kyra thank you making our return stay such a wonderful experience. You really are very special. It was great to meet the new members of staff too. They all did you proud. The food as ever is amazing and our new pups made so welcome. It?s been great to share our favourite hotel with them. The rooms are so comfortable-just as we remembered- and new decor looks great. The pups loved the gardens and all the wonderful treats. Thanks again. We will be returning soon

Well Done Talland Bay Staff - Comments by Z936 P James. We witnessed the arrival, unloading the dog, children, towels and bags & heading for the beach - no intention of using hotel. Also the ranting abuse when challenged
