This surgery has left me over 10 days now without meds that control blood thinning to avoid deep vein thrombosis, very sad ?, called at least 5 times and promised prescription and still nothing, have had 2 dvt and next one could be heart or lungs ?absolutely disgraceful ?

4 Years ago Dr Thornton was responsible for saving my life. She was brilliant and the surgery was generally well run and helpful.

Been with the surgery about 3 years. It was great at first, not hard to get appointments, friendly, generally reliable. It's really gone downhill in the last year or so. It's really hard to get an appointment and often only possible 2 weeks in the future. And that's if you can get through to the surgery at all, the phones just ring and ring. One or two of the receptionists are downright hostile. Repeat prescriptions are rarely ready even when you order them a week in advance (a week!). I gave it two stars rather than one because when you actually see a GP or nurse they are very good. But someone at the top of this organisation (is it one of the GPs) needs to take a good look at the overall operation. It's really not good.

Despite being too I need to be seen on the same day I made contact I was refused three times by the receptionists. Today one was most unpleasant and didn?t even apologise when she saw I was correct.

I hear people talk about their GP and I feel lucky to have mine.Always felt listened too and taken seriously, when I was suffering with dizziness 24/7 for ages when I contacted the doctors, my doctors phone and asked me get there ASAP when I can.Everyone's experiences are different but Rosedean Surgery have been great to me.

The pharmacy is dreadful. Particularly if you have a prescription delivered even worseThey lose prescriptions, cancel and delay delivery at the drop of a hat. It still continues to make excuses and tries to blame the patient.

Certain staff seem unable to communicate simple instructions or accommodate an individuals needs during an appointment. Kept waiting to be seen only to be told that I had already been seen. Must have been my identical twin because they didn't see me! Not good

I am finding this surgery very useless and I have to pick my meds up today and now they tell me I am to get them tomorrow I collect my meds up every Tuesday why do I have to wait if the doctors are in the wrong now I have to.stay in pain till the afternoon not on

This review is in regards to the Dr I saw who usually works hear. Dr G Stevens, who saw me at Pelynt Surgery on behalf of my GP. I have hair loss and I have serious mental health issues. I have not been in a GP surgery for years, due to mental Illness, this GP made adjustments to enable me to attend and saw me at the start of surgery. His knowledge of hair related and skin related health issues was exceptional, he was able to explain the complex simply (a real sign he knew what he was talking about). His manner with me was kind and he did not speak down to me, as sometimes can occur. He had spent a large amount of time researching my hair loss, and although there is little that can be done, I was left with hope that it will not mean I become a ?bald woman at 51 with mental illness? . I am so impressed with his attitude to disability and mental disability in particular. My sincere thanks.

Well, if this surgery is rated by the Care Quality Commission as ?Outstanding? then I would hate to see average.My wife and I were registered at this surgery for just over one year. We are both on repeat prescriptions. I can say that every contact I have had, either by telephone or a physical visit, has left me disappointed with the service except once, a telephone call with Dr Allen. However, the follow up at the surgery by other staff was dreadful.The surgery appears to lack any sense of management, organisation or joined up thinking.Telephone appointments were not received or the times of physical appointments changed without notification and when questioned, the Reception staff were just outright rude. I was notified that a doctor will telephone, in response to telephone appointment missed by the doctor, but no calls received.I attended for blood a test but nurse only prepared to take for single test when it is clear that multiple tests would be required. Later, without further medical consultation, received further request to attend for other tests. This is either a case of dreadful management or milking the NHS Business Services Authority for more cash at the patients inconvenience.Medications are ordered at the dispensary with lots of notice however, on more than one occasion, on arrival told medications unavailable and asked to return. This surgery/dispensary is happy to waste your time when a phone call would safe our time and theirs.In short, the basic organisation and management of this surgery and dispensary has left me so concerned that I am unable to trust them with my health and welfare. I have registered elsewhere.

Used to be good. You could once get an appointment same day, now have to wait until a doctor calls you back, usually not in the time scale stipulated. Sad. I can't tell you how difficult it is to get a repeat prescription when you are not mobile or get help ordering online. The docs are generally good, however every time I find one who is VERY good - they leave. Also have a potentially fractured toe and can't get an appointment! Wow!
