On arrival asked re air con told yes sir. After going to hot damp room asked again at reception ?oh button not pressed on control panel? seems to be policy now. Even after this and an email at midnight nothing done. Had same at Dorchester. Guest relations aren?t intrested either just fobbed off. Rapidly going off premier inn if I wanted this I?d stay at travlodge. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Saving money turning ac off. Avoid this hotel

After driving 3.5 hours to visit family, we checked in to the premier inn Liskeard. I wasn?t expecting anything less than the usual premier inn standard and have stayed in countless across the country. No frills, just a comfy bed and a clean room. Both rooms were over £100 each due to being peak season. The rooms stank of drain and damp washing and were boiling! Upon mentioning this to staff we were advised we were unable to change due to availability, despite still having rooms on the website(we looked while on the way to a family gathering.) Upon returning to the hotel at around 12am, tired from socialising and driving, we entered the stifling/damp room to be greeted with a noisy air con that blew no cold air. By this point we were exhausted and opened the window to the lush sounds of the noisy a38. after about 2 hours of interrupted sleep I woke at around 6am to get ready to drive the long stretch home. Tired is an understatement. In the morning I reported this to staff and they said ?next time come and ask us for a fan?. Thankfully there won?t be a next time! I have written a report to premier 9 days ago and are still yet to have a response. Save your money and stay at Jamaica inn, only 8 miles from Liskeard and 100% better than this dank premier inn!

The so called twin puts one person on the world's most uncomfortable sofa bed. The window's are sealed shut. The air-conditioning seemed fixed at 24 degrees meaning that the sleeplessness from the hard bed was made much worse by the heat and lack of fresh feeling air.

I arrived exhausted on Friday July 7th after horrid 8 and 1/4 hour actual driving time. The manager manged to get me a meal between major group bookings at about 8pm. I was so grateful. On Saturday 8th Kirsten the waitress was a star. So very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Top marks to all the staff I met. Good base for my visit to see cousins at Liskeard show. Proper job.

Absolutely amazing service. Staff were so lovely, suggesting nearby places to get lunch and even rearranging the bedroom when there was a mix-up.\\nLovely quiet hotel and the rooms are so spacious.

We did not sleep at all due to constant banging either above us or to the side we chose Liskeard as we felt it would be quite and out of town as we had a very important meeting in the morning that we could not attend due to lack of sleep we went to complain to a member of staff inthe evening and as we went to go to reception we had trouble opening the door to be greeted by a very impolite young staff member who abruptly told us it would help if we pulled the door handle down correctly and then just walked off this is not acceptable when we had payed £189 for one night to try and guarantee a good comfortable nights sleep

We had an amazing stay at Premier Inn. We arrived at 1am weary and tired after a 5 hour drive. We were greeted by Mark and Johnathan on reception who couldn't do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Will deffinately return again in the future!

Room was very hot with no working air conditioning, when mentioning it the staff said the heating was on and offered a fan which helped a little but was still uncomfortably hot, we couldn?t change the air con lower than 19° the room also had a really horrible smell, the location is so beautiful you?d think they?d keep it nice, the pub next door was very nice though

Room 23 smelt very strong of mould / damp Being on ground floor there was no opening of windows and so every time you had shower and opened the bathroom door the steam escaped into the room and literally had no where to go apart from it around !!! Room itself was ok , large enough for the king size and bed settee in it . Tea coffee supplies etc . Another major problem is the restaurant associated/ next door to it . Night before we had arrived apparently there was a big fight over something the chef had said to someone and the night we were there the till system stopped working during our meal and at end couldn?t pay using cards . As no cash on us we were asked to leave all our bank details with the staff and they would tap it in in the morning . Yes not a ridiculous request but if I was paying over phone myself or tapping in on a machine like normal half them bank details would not be accessible to anyone else so this action actually felt wrong . Wouldn?t have minded but whilst waiting for the bill for over 25 mins we were asked twice could we just hang around whilst they tried to fix the problem . Table next to us even joked that the meal should be free ! No apology was really given or discounted price . Service that night was also very slow and only noticed the sign at the bar telling ?drinkers? that they were short staffed this weekend . No mention to the actual diners eating there that it would be slow even when not that busy . Would I go back - possibly yes if I needed to DTM Tay in the area , but not on the ground floor of the inn and I might eat else where for a better quality food and price

I would like to say how utterly brilliant and lovely both Racheal and Maddie were at the Liskeard Premier inn. In all honesty I was a bit short due to having an inter connecting door and wasn?t as polite as I could have been. They not only agreed to move us but they did so whilst having to make up another bed for our son in record time whilst busy. I did apologise at the time I also thanked them at the time but would like to say again a huge Thank you and I?m sorry for being a little off!

We travelled over 250 miles to a wedding and wanted a place to stay to recuperate before the start of the wedding celebrations over the following 2 days. We managed to get a good price on the room and enjoyed our stay and meals. Think there should be more of these price deals in other Premier Inns throughout the country as my daughter and I travel to a lot of places for competitions in her sport for the Uk team

We enjoyed our stay in liskeard, the hotel is not too far from nearest beach which was great. The room was lovely & clean, and both Rachel M & Sarah were a pleasure to speak with, both very helpful & friendly. Thank you!
