“Menheniot Spar has amazed me over the last few months. When it was such a daunting trip to go to any supermarket I started using this Spar on a regular basis and it had almost everything I could ever need - even a book with its great book swap library. ”

“This, is a great little shop. I’ve been using it for 7+ years, ever since I moved here. The staff are the most friendly, helpful people, and they do a grand job. The “so called” manager however, is completely incompetent, and fails to “manage” this retail outlet with any degree of success. His systems are unorganised and random. His attitude to customers who raise a complaint are apathetic, and the respect he should deserve as a manager, is sadly lacking due to his own shortcomings. I have a had a newspaper, saved each Saturday for 7 years. I drive two and a half miles each way to collect it. I use the store regularly for a number of groceries etc. I have, in the last 3 months, had my paper “disappear” mysteriously, from the “saved paper” stack. Those who organise and put the newspapers by are shockingly under trained and the system is antiquated, but the manager takes no responsibility for this. His approach is, at best, a shrug of the shoulders and a casual, “don’t know what happened” comment. I don’t know what happened when he was appointed. The store will get 5 stars from me when it has a new, competent manager.”
