Great food, great value, proper sized portions! and great service. Never disappoints. Always a great night out. So lucky to have such a fantastic pub in the village.

Our last review here was November 2022 so nearly a year ago. Well, it's the same. A great Sunday roast with loads of meat and plenty of varied veg. It's our "go to" for a good meal out.

This Inn is in the middle of the Cornish country side and it?s a little hidden gem! Staff is incredibly kind and caring, food is great and portions are huge! Definitely a must go

Nice old pub traditional the meal was nice. Had mixed grill and lamb chops that were bigger than expected. Lady was efficient she was serving and dishing out the meals. Locals are friendly in this area not your usual aloof cornish. Pub was welcoming and we felt comfortable. Like 1970 pub.

Very impressed with not only the excellent food, but also the delightful young lady who served us. She couldn't possibly have been any better. Huge portions of lovely cod. Beautifully presented vegetarian crepes. Only one bitter on hand pump as far as I could see, but it was lovely.

An amazing place to go with good food and good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and always happy to give good service, the food portions are outstanding and the quality is of a very high standard.

Dropped in on a friday evening and bagged a table on spec...lucky! The food was superb, huge portions of home cooked meat and veg which was delicious. (saw a plate of fish and chips pass by...wow) Staff friendly and attentive, and a defo must visit again. GREAT

Great to see a village pub doing so well.They clearly know their lunchtime mainly elderly clientele well , offering smaller portions on most mains .Full portions are generous and lamb chops and Steak and Guiness pie excellent.
