We had a fantastic family meal here a couple of nights ago. Very friendly and accommodating. Excellent food. I had the fish pie, plenty of fish, very generous portion and lovely greens. My partner had the linguine. Also accommodating for kids as the meals can be made smaller for different appetites. Our 4 and 6 year old were very happy with their kids portions fish and chips with peas. Thanks for a fantastic meal! Really lovely pub.

A very interesting beach, without sand (it's sandy when the tide is low). I've been visiting it for over 12 years. It would be a nice place to relax by the water, especially since it's small and nicely located. The beach is supposedly private and classified as "dog-friendly" now. However, there are no rules regarding dog owners. Owners let their dogs run free, and the animals on this small beach run over your belongings and "joyfully" attack playing children. Dogs pee in the sand next to you. Attempts to talk to dog owners about keeping their dogs on a leash end in complaints, saying, "This is a dog-friendly beach." (Personally, I love dogs, but having four dogs running free in this small area is a nightmare.) At the cafe next door (supposedly the beach owners), no one is able to help, and everyone is avoiding responsibility. I believe this small and charming beach loses all its charm due to the lack of responsibility for free-run animals. It would be enough to introduce rules for dog owners. Pets must be kept on short leashes so as not to disturb others. I'll want to return, as many of my friends do, but only after rules for equal treatment of guests are established. Currently, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for tourists seeking peace and a hassle-free vacation. I'm sorry.

We popped in for a couple of beers early eve. Nice old pub.
We enjoyed the Corona Extra on draft. We had a lovely chat with Lindsay, and wish her and her partner all the best.

We turned up at this pub today following the large sign saying world famous lamorna wink which we thought sounded great for food. However this place serves food only at very particular times from Friday to Sunday. I think the sign should outline this clearly and save the tiny lane drive you must go down to reach this place. This isn't a bad review just a bit of feedback for the owners to stop the disappointment which we faced and countless others on your reviews. It was an upset as the menu looked great.

We were looking forward to an evening meal but after a long hike discovered it was closed dispite it saying open on Thursdays on the website and no mention of anything unusual other than an a4 handwritten note on the door. Another group of hikers had the same issue.

Best Sunday roast I can remember having in a pub. Beer was great, service prompt, friendly and professional. A real hidden gem worth travelling for.
