Absolutely fantastic service every time at Jewsons Helston. The team are always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help ? nothing is ever too much trouble. Whether I know exactly what I need or I?m a bit unsure, they always point me in the right direction with a smile. Top service all round!

Staggeringly expensive. I rarely go into jewsons because it's like playing the lottery as far as prices go. Today I needed some trim pieces which I normally get from macsalvors in Redruth for 5.85 + vat. I was pointed to the area containing the exact same trim that macsalvors sell and the guy behind the counter said don't worry about the price on the shelf I'll give you a much better price. I picked the piece went up to the same guy who happily tapped away on his one arm bandit and said they are £12.75 + vat each. I declined and I was right staying away from jewsons but wrong going in there today. I don't know whether this guy was taking the proverbial or what but I won't be going back into Jewsons. You can tell a good company from a rotten company by the way they respond to their reviews. Jewsons here only respond to 5 star reviews....that's telling. Don't waste your time going into Jewsons Helston. In addition I realise this is a builders merchants but there was a lady shopper browsing and two rotund guys who looked like managers behind the counter were having a laugh which is great but dropping the f-bomb several times was extremely uncalled for.

Really disappointed with Helstons delivery, said it would arrive on the day item brought but after 2 days still no item, rang and was told they twice tried to deliver the item, as we stayed in for 2 whole days they didn?t was told they took pictures of my front door but obviously it?s not my door. Very disappointed with helston jewsons Would not recommend them for delivery.

Really good service, and very helpful personnel, you always get a smile and how can I help, and are ready to provide advice if required, having used other builder merchants in the vicinity I can only say that from now on I will be using Jewsons of Helston

After years of struggling with consistency on prices and reliability, a final dispute over unordered materials I finally closed my account with Jewson helston. No regrets.Recently stopped by through convenience to buy a pack of fixings at a cost of £7.07 when I ran out I used RGB in Porthleven and the same fixings were £1.68 great to see they are still screwing Joe public on prices
