Rude staff and was told by the lady behind the counter they could not order a product in for me as it was 10 minutes until closing time (I entered the pharmacy at 5:40) her staff had homes to go to. No help or guidance and I left really upset. Please try another chemist.

I know the pharmacy is a busy environment but when I received a text saying my prescription is ready for collection I don't expect to wait 30 minutes after giving my details to the assistant.

I?ve been using Hall's Pharmacy for quite a few years now and I?ve found the service to be absolutely fantastic. The staff always greet customers (at least in my experience) with politeness and compassion. Nothing is too much trouble and it seems that customers are always valued.Even when the pharmacy is incredibly busy, the staff remain unflustered and unflappable.Even when medications are not available due to national shortages, the staff will contact your GP on your behalf. It?s a pity some customers didn?t treat the staff with the politeness, respect and dignity that the staff show them.Always support your local businesses folks because if you don?t, they won?t survive!Sheila, Amy and ALL the team, you are all superstars. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you all soon.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. They are understaffed and overworked and yet still smile and try to do all they can to help.A little kindness and understanding from some of the customers would go a long way. Support local and appreciate the hard work they do in this terrible time.

I am extremely disappointed at the treatment I received from one of your members of staff. I have never encountered such appalling customer service as that which I received from this person. Her lack of understanding and compassion is beyond belief. I was told by my doctor that I could pick up my prescription from Halls Pharmacy because, as I had explained, I would not be able to get back to my normal pharmacy in time. I arrived in Halls roughly around 5.35 - 5.40pm. There were 3 customers already at the counter, 2 of whom were already being served. There appeared to be some complications with their requests. I waited, very breathlessly, until it was my turn. This was now probably around 5.55pm. The prescription was being prepared, but I was told by one of the assistants that it couldn't be issued without my NHS number as it was not my normal pharmacy. As I didn't have it, the young lady very kindly went into the surgery to get the necessary information. It obviously took a few minutes, and by this time, another assistant could see I was pretty distressed and offered seating at the rear of the shop. In the meantime, the doors were being locked as 6.00pm was closing time. About 2 minutes past 6.00pm, this particular member of staff approached and asked me to leave the premises and return to the surgery as the prescription had not been signed at that point. I asked if I could come back in to collect and was told resoundingly "No, we're closed." Not sure where I would be able to fulfil my prescription, I enquired where to go. I was told "Tesco". When I queried if she was certain, I was again asked to leave the premises, it could be discussed outside, she had staff that wanted to go home. I also work with the general public, and there have been many times when I have just wanted to go home, when it's long past when I should have clocked off, but we don't leave until our last client has left the premises, and still provide the level of customer service we have maintained all day. I can not believe how harsh and uncompromising this person was, I felt like I was being forcefully removed from the property. This all happened in around 5 minutes, I got my signed prescription and would've been able to collect it from Halls pharmacy before 6.07pm. They were obviously still there. Whatever happened to just being kind, thoughtful, and going that extra mile to help someone? It must've been very clear that I needed the medication. However, that was obviously not her concern. I asked my brother to help as by this time, attempting to walk through tesco was just too much. However, they didn't have the drug I needed, and I couldn't get an answer to find out if any of the local stores had it in stock. So, a big thank you to that lady, you had it there but was not prepared to give up 5 minutes of your precious time which would've meant I didn't have to struggle so badly through another day.I strongly believe that, as I had been waiting in the shop for around 20-25 minutes, it was beyond my control as to when I reached the counter to be served. I feel that it is the responsibility and obligation of whichever facility you are in before it closes to ensure that you are taken care of, served, and treated with respect.UPDATE : The next day, a friend took my prescription to my local pharmacy. They couldn't dispense it because Halls already had it. The ladies in boots kindly tried several times to contact Halls but no reply. I was now concerned I wouldn't be able to get it that day. Eventually, after speaking to the receptionist at Helston Surgery, I decided it was best to speak to the pharmacy clerk myself. I spoke to a lovely lady called Jo, she was so kind, considerate and helpful, even taking the time to exchange pleasantries. Within minutes, this lady arranged for Halls to reject the prescription, gave me the file number so my local pharmacy could find it easily and I picked it up around 5pm that evening. A heartfelt thanks

Used to be a good pharmacy but sadly no longer, they rarely have the medication in stock that you need, I've called them constantly throughout today as requested to confirm that my medication will be available for collection tomorrow, nobody answered any of my calls, My doctor sends the prescriptions electronically to Halls, when you ask Halls what time it will be ready your told 3 days???I Always try to use local businesses and support the local community but in this case I just can't.
