Read reviews and thought we have to have Sunday lunch there, seeing as we had been in the week to pick their wonderful PYO fruits and vegetables, however we arrived and were shown to our table, drinks came quickly, Don't Order the Squash it's just coloured water, I mean yes staff probably been told not to use too much but at least make it so it tastes of orange or Blackcurrant, the waiting staff were absolutely amazing, food was served quickly and we were informed the Lamb for today was rolled lamb so had some fatty areas, in other words it was a cheaper rolled breast or shoulder, that didn't put off the hubby but my son who's autistic has a phobia of fat so opted for the chicken, myself and my youngest son had their rare breed pork now when the food arrived it looked lovely, but it was Luke warm, which meant my husbands lamb left a grease lining at the top of his mouth, then came the potatoes, if you don't have your own teeth don't try and eat them unless you have used fixer that day, they had a solid exterior which was disappointing as they were a nice potato, the swede mash and the pork was absolutely amazing I really can't fault that, the lop rare breed pork is so flavourful its absolutely lush, but I have to sadly admit that the rest of the veg was terrible, the carrots hadn't been peeled and some looked almost dirty still at least give them a good scrub, yes I get veg is better in skin but carrots are always the exception, they were hard, so hard I couldn't stick a fork in, the cauliflower cheese was exactly the same although the flavour was nice the rest was just inedible, and peas and cabbage well it must have been dipped in hot water and that was all, they too were hard and inedible, the Yorkshires looked great and the top half was brilliant until the stodgy bottoms that had half the oil still sitting in them ? overall the food was one of the most expensive, poorly cooked meals I've had, needless to say not one plate out of 4 were anywhere near clear, that really annoyed me as I hate waste but it was just terrible, after eating we sat there with our plates to the side and used napkins on top, yet 20 mins past and no one came to clear the plates, having a autistic child whom by this point wants to know where his dessert is and can he go home ???? so I made the decision to head to the dessert counter ask for dessert to go and pay the bill. £97.15 for 2 adults 2 kids 3 pints of squash ½pt of Pepsi max and 2 childrens dessert and one adults, absolutely shocking for a meal that was wasted and to be brutally honest I've had better roasts off the too good to go app. I admit desserts were the best part and I was able to share mine it was that big, it was an awful lot of money to waste that's for sure.
Further to this When picking fruit the other day I brought some Judes chocolate custard that was reduced, it wasn't until I got home that day I had realised she had charged me full price, so today I took it back to the shop with the receipt to be basically called a liar by telling me that staff wouldn't have made that mistake if it was reduced they would have rung it up as so ? it's such a shame as I was so very impressed with them up until today, now I'll never visit again, even if their fruit is the most amazing, the way we've been treated today, is terrible. So annoyed

The choice of desserts (c25/30) is truly unbelievable and the portion size needs to be seen to be believed. You'll definitely return.

We went to Trevaskis farm to do fruit picking. We were able to pick various berries at this time of the year. We chose Strawberries and they were delicious!

?????????? A Perfect Sunday Roast at Trevaskis Farm!
We went to Trevaskis Farm for Sunday lunch during our Cornwall holiday and it was absolutely amazing. The food was simple but executed brilliantly ? a proper English Sunday roast that really hit the spot. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour.
But the desserts? wow! The selection was incredible ? you?re genuinely spoilt for choice. Between us we had the Baileys and Malteser cheesecake (which I?ll be dreaming about for a while!), the tiramisu, and the apple crumble with ice cream. All absolutely delicious.
The staff were so friendly and efficient, and the whole place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we?ve already booked to go back next Sunday ? that says it all!
Highly recommend if you?re in the area and fancy a top-notch roast with unforgettable puds.

Had a great time with a two year old doing pick your own, seeing the animals and having lunch. Very helpful to have a free from / gluten free section on the menu. The cake selection is enormous!

Trevaskis Farm is a real find and always worth a visit. The food was very good, good quantities, well presented and of the best ingredients. The farm is noted for its vast array of puddings where the quality of each is excellent and the portion size huge. The prices were slightly below local average too. But special mention must be given to each member of the staff team. They were all extremely friendly, helpful, attentive and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Our out of county visitors were so impressed that they planned to go back again the next day!

Disappointing visit, went for food on a whim and thought we?d come back here despite a few mediocre visits over the last couple of years.
Service started well, food arrived quickly, sizzling beef was warm (not sizzling). Forgot my partners main course, so the rest of the food had been bought out, so had to wait for that.
The waitress came over and apologised, explained she didn?t add it to the order, (which was paid for upfront due to being sat outside). This was fine, stuff like this happens, but then asked us then to pay for the meal that missed again okay, we don?t expect not to pay. But when I pointed out that the rest of the food was going cold as it was just me and my partner, she offered to ?reheat? the food. Most places would say don?t worry about the meal that was missed, or we can offer a free dessert, drink. But no, nothing, but it is what it is, we didn?t want to make a scene with other people around enjoying their meals.
From that point on we ended up with a different server, bearing in mind up to that point we were laughing and joking with the waitress. Obviously didn?t like the fact that she made a mistake and was called out on it. When casually presenting us with another upfront bill for their mistake.
Didn?t get give cutlery, waited a while but no servers were around so we ended up getting our own from their station. Saw the same waitress as we were leaving and she just blanked us. The food wasn?t too bad to be fair, but safe to say as locals in Hayle we won?t be going back anytime soon and certainly won?t be recommending it when talking to friends and family etc?.
This place has really gone downhill over the years and judging by other reviews we aren?t the only ones that think this, really quite poor.

What a wonderful experience, farm animals, fruit picking, excellent variety farm shop and a cracking breakfast.
Service was quick, plenty of seating and the food portions were more than enough.
Amazing cake selection and great menu options.
