The restaurant/pub was not in the building, and you had to walk to it. Unfortunately, this was a complete letdown having a disabled person and it pouring down with rain. The room wasn't as advertised on the website and is in serious need of updating. Wall usb sockets are not working, and nothing looks fresh. I am a keen stayer at premier inn's but this time, it was a complete letdown, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The building should be knocked down and rebuilt to today's standards.Rooms: In desperate need of updating.

Tried calling reception 10 times no answer. Then tried booking line and surprise surprise no answer either, it's certainly not encouraging, are they short staffed or just can't be bothered to answer... called Wadebridge premier and they answered straight away plus got a friendly receptionist.... wow the difference between the two....

Great value. Large clean room, with coffee making facilities. Spacious bathroom, (no shaver point), and sadly the air-conditioning didn't work.Excellent continental breakfast, with a wide selection. Queues at the coffee machine as one, (of two), was broken.Dinner was a disaster and limited to mainly fried food, with no healthy options. There was a 45mins wait and when the food did arrive, it was cold and over cooked.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, easy to find.Food & drinks: The Brewers Fayre next door is disappointing with long waits for good. If you choose to eat there, remember to order from the counter - you will wait a long time for someone to take your order at your table!McDonalds is five minutes across the car park.Ask the hotel receptionist for directions to other local eating establishments.

We arrived at around 7:30, we were tired and I was ready for an early night. Grandchildren were tired after a very busy Christmas Day. The whole building was beautifully clean and it had signs up asking politely to be quiet. The room was warm and really clean. The beds were freshly made and so comfortable, extra pillows were provided in the room and at reception. Immaculate 100% staying there again.I only stayed one night as I didn't want to travel home on Christmas day.

I've stayed in Premier Inns a lot and this has to be one of the best. Very good value for money. Check is was swift with polite and informative staff. The location is great on the A30, very convenient for the South west coastal walk. Despite being next to the main road there are no road sounds at all in the room. There is a restaurant next door (decent prices and menu choices, with children's play area), Mc Donald's, Starbucks, Boots chemist, Next and Marks and Spencer as well as a supermarket within a few meters walk. The room is one of the cleanest I have ever been in and appears newly refreshed. Very large bed, nice bathroom with bath and shower. Multi shampoo and body wash, liquid soap, towels and hairdryer all available in the room with kettle and tea and coffee (extra available in reception) for free. There is plenty of free parking right outside with downstairs rooms for anyone with limited mobility and the restaurant is on a single level. The room was very dark with thick curtains and plenty of plug sockets and decent TV. The only downside (and only because I'm really sound sensitive) was the constant drone of air temperature control which had no way of turning off. It didn't keep me awake but was just an annoyance.Walkability: Train station at Hayle within walking distance (about 1 mile) gets you into Truro or Penzance. We used it to get to St Ives then walked back to Hayle along the southwest coastal path.
