If you are planning to visit restaurant you have to plan ages ago otherwise your entry will be rejected at the entrance.
I believe business is doing pretty well because they are least worried about the customers.
Very bad experience with the service offered.
Very disrespectful staff and treatment depending on the skin colour.
If you are interested to get insulted as a customer do visit the place.

All staff members was very welcoming and very polite, helpful and really good at their jobs, really made us feel very welcome. Food was super nice as well ? ?? would definitely come again when down Cornwall next

Booked to go here to take advantage of an offer that was sent through to us today (we booked at lunchtime for a table at 1845). Upon arriving and checking the car reg in we had to wait 5 minutes to be seen too, only to be told that there was a 45 minute wait for food!
Now normally this is typically alright when a place is pumping busy, however tonight this place was far from pumping and id hazard a guess at maybe a quarter full (one end of the restaurant was completely empty with the other half with barely anyone there, plus 2 tables outside having drinks). One can only guess at how they would/could cope had it been full of people on holiday? There was no assurances or explanations or even a wish to try and keep us there, so much so even the chaps waiting behind us heard and did a 180 and left! Not the best experience?

Its a Brewers Fayre, cheapish and cheerful. Food was alright, service was great but tbh there was more staff than customers when we visited.
Very, very dead for this time of year.... but Cornwall doesn't seem as busy so far this summer, but it is cheaper to stay in Spain for a week

There weren't enough staff to run an icecream van, never mind a pub! The place looked old and tatty. There was food under the tables. The cutlery wasn't clean. 3 of our seven meals were wrong, either missing items or not what was ordered.

Came in for lunch service was excellent and the staff were kind and caring megan was an absolute star will be coming here again!

Dinner here was excellent, staff were all working really hard it was very busy but still all remained friendly and helpful. Megan took our dessert order at the table which was lovely and Marie on the bar was also really friendly.

Took my niece into the play area and was great service from all staff, Becky in play was very attentive and was great help, food was hot and quick would definitely recommend

Great food, friendly staff, and excellent value for money. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was quick. Becky was especially lovely ? really attentive and made us feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the chocolate brownie ? rich, gooey, and served warm with ice cream. Perfect spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a lovely visit with the kids yesterday. The place was clean, staff were friendly, and the service was quick. The kids were happy with their meals, and it all felt really relaxed. A big shoutout to Elle who was so nice and made us feel really welcome. Nice and easy, just what we needed.

Fantastic family-friendly restaurant! The team were welcoming and helpful, and the kids had a brilliant time in the play area ? it made the visit so much easier for us. Our meals were served promptly and tasted great. Affordable prices and a laid-back vibe made it a really enjoyable experience. We?ll be back soon!

What a disaster of a place. Was willing to give the chain another go after our local one went rogue. Safe to say that it must be the whole chain that is a disaster.
We booked for 5.30pm and arrived on time. The queue to order food was as long as the bar with one person taking orders and serving drinks. To be fair she got through the queue quite quickly, when someone was tasked to help, but we waited nearly an hour and a half for food.
When it arrived the food was average and luke warm at best. Others waited for an hour to be told that the pizza they had ordered was now unavailable. The manager offered free desserts as compensation. A desert that burns the roof of the mouth usually was just warm.
Sorry Brewers Fayre, you?ve had your chance, I will never be returning.
