The caravan was lovely, we booked the towel bundle before we went and payed £15.00 plus £10.00 deposit, we left there on 28th August and we expected to get the deposit back, 2weeks later I rang them up and was told it takes upto 28days to get it back, I am still waiting, and I have been ringing every 2 weeks and been told it is on its way.so I will not be visiting again.

This is our third time coming to this park, we have 3 children with some difficulties and this one isn't far from home for us, so it's definitley convenient aswell as being a small park so possibly not as overwhelming. Our kids are 3, 4 and 7 and have loved staying here, it has a very small soft play area, aimed at younger children & two arcade areas that have plenty to entertain children of all ages, the swimming pool is basic with no indoor slides but the kids still enjoyed swimming. We were a little bit disappointed this time as when we came last, our caravan had food under the bed in one of the twin rooms and a child's dummy found in the front room, there were some small issues but it clearly hadnt been cleaned/inspected very well but when I spoke to the reception staff, they reassured me that it was a one off situation and would be dealt with ASAP. This time we entered the caravan and the floor was still wet so had obviously just been cleaned & althoough the bathroom was quite dusty, there was also a flannel left behind & a face exfoliating wash, found in a cupboard in the bedroom.. our caravan had two toilets but one was very blocked so we couldnt use it. Other than the few very small issues with the cleanliness of the caravan, we had a lovely weekend, the kids enjoyed sand bottle art, the 'make a bear party' and the swimming pool, There are a few bookable activities for children although he majority are outdoor activities so weather dependant. Our caravan was close to the entertainment venue which was great for us, we didnt need to carry tired children through the park after the entertainment and it was very close to the park area, which they enjoyed playing in .. if youre going for a quiet weekend or have small children that dont sleep well through noise, it may not be a good idea to choose a caravan that close to the venue as we could still hear the music from the entertainment and children playing in the park until around 11.30pm although it didnt bother us or wake our children. Most of the entertainment staff are very nice, they do very well considering the really long hours that they work, this time we saw Lucy & Rowan, who we've met before & met Abbie, who was really lovely. It would be nice to see the characters walking around the site more because other than the very start of the evening entertainment, there's not much chance to see the characters. Monday mornings are characters breakfasts at the Bluff and one of the characters were supposed to be at Bluff from 9.30-10am on the morning that we were leaving but we arrived at 9.50am and the character had already gone.. although Abbie did give each of my children a sticker with the character on it. We like this site and have only ever had quite small issues that haven't ruined our experience here although as its a small park and we've stayed for 3 weekends, we will be looking to stay on a bigger park next time as we've done everything on this one

I was wondering Does Staff look at bookings when alloucationg caravens to guests because for a family of three adults and 0 children, we were given a caravan with one master bedroom to one kids room which was too costapobic for anyone in the family to sleep in. Which meant two of us sleeping on the sofa. Apart from that, The site is nice and spaced out.

Having visited many Haven sites this was defiantly the smallest. It was OK for us as there were just the 2 of us but with a child I don't think there would have been enough to do. The pool is tiny and there didn't seem many other facilities. The only time we tried to use the bar it was closed "due to rehearsals". There were very few paths leading up to the caravans so we had to drive on the grass (other Haven sites have no driving on grass rules), we also had to drive up curbs as there were no drop kerbs in places. We had a Bronze caravan which was clean and of an adequate size. This is also the first site where the restaurant has been off the complex so meant a walk, this is Ok unless you have mobility issues. Unlike other reviews we found staff in The Bluff friendly and efficient. Food was the usual Haven menu and standard. You really need a car here as we really stuggled to get a taxi into Hayle. It is well placed for visits to St Ives and Penzance etc. We went to St Ives on the train from Hayle station which was a lovely experience along the coast. It was a 5 hour journey for us to get here and I'm not sure I'd return.

Loved this hayle haven. Price was ridiculously reasonable, the caravan was modern and spotless. The site had a well stocked shop, pub and clubhouse which we didn?t use. Most impressive is the 3 mile picturesque, clean, sandy beach. We walked down the steps of the site straight onto a haven. If you walk the other way, you come to a cove with a lovely cafe on it or the bluff in. All of us went regularly to either the cove with an early morning coffee or had a night time stroll to see if we could see the seals swimming around.

Love the location of this park, the site facilitates were a little tired and the pool is tiny, everything was shut when we went which wasn?t great, we explored the local eateries and found the bluff which was brilliant for the price! The beach is unbeatable here.

Great stay . Lovely clean site on the beach side . Small and friendly. Caravan was spacious clean and had everything . Easy walk to gorgeous beach . A bit remote is my only complaint you need a car to get anywhere as bus is only every 2 hours and very unreliable coming back . Not much in hayle either. I would recommend as a base .

This is our 4th year to this site, we had lander 128 and it was gorgeous, very clean when we arrived fantastic view of the moorland and sea in the distance, two (yesTWO) full size bathrooms with showers, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, amazing staff with a very efficient reception, it?s a small site and this is probably why we love it, close enough base for lots of day trips, the bed was the most comfortable with a memory foam topper, There is not loads to do and the arcade is quite small but what they do have is great staff and it?s well looked after (I would probably put a pool table in the coast cafe downstairs, but that?s just personal choice save walking to the bluff) Will be booking up again for next year! Well done haven

Stayed here for a four night break. The caravan was very clean and well equipped. The location is great with a beautiful sandy beach about 100 yards away. The staff were friendly and helpful in all departments. The shop on the site is quite good with a good range of food and bakery items. We stayed in a Savers caravan which was surprisingly good, as we have always found. You can park right by the caravan which is helpful. We didn't have any issues with anything and only went into reception to drop off the key when we left. If I am going to really nit pick the prices in the shop could be a little bit lower but I am having to find minor criticisms. Thank you Haven again for a great holiday and we would have no hesitation to recommend this site to our friends and to stay here again.

The cashier Jo was lovely and helped me find the one-eyed red squirrel Teddy that I had wanted (who is now called Captain Red Tail of the Seven Trees)!!
