Not a place to come if you can't drive as the buses are rubbish here.. Im still on site but seriously thinking of going home today as not really enjoying this holiday what's so ever.. Didn't get home until approx around 9 30ish after waiting for buses from penzance at around 5 15 pm to get back to the holiday resort of reviere sands.. No time for a shower no time to have tea no time to come back out to the entertainment . As it took over 4 hours to get home.. So the evening was ruined. And more than 1 evening has been ruined by being somewhere remote.. Please don't come here if you don't drive as you won't be able to get out and above very easily.. The staff are ok and the caravan is nice and clean.. But the location is not if you don't drive.. I've never felt so isolated from everything..

Me and my partner went for a weekend away here, I came here when I was a kid and my partner has never been to Cornwall so thought this would be ideal. So we had a saver caravan- it was very well equipped and was clean, I paid extra to pick the one I wanted on site as had a sea view and close to the walks. The overall trip was good as we went out every day and spent evening down in Hayle beach as it is stunning- the location is good for this! Downsides: the food on site is really expensive and portion size is shocking! We got fish and chips on site and honestly the piece of fish was the smallest I?ve ever seen! And it cost me £20. If I had known I would of driven off site to get elsewhere! Plus one thing that really shocked me, I was outside the club entrance and it was around 8.30pm and I saw rats running around from papa johns to the bushes near the children?s playground. I thought no I didn?t see that and said to my partner and he looked and saw a family of rats in the bush! And they weren?t small either! ? Overall I enjoyed the caravan as a base and going out and about but using the facilities and stuff on site for a couple we thought and seeing the rats and etc just put us off.

We used to come here when we were kids and it was great to now bring our daughter with us. Caravan was clean and tidy. It's a good location for venturing out on day trips. Fish and chips was poor. Bluff Inn nice views, food was okay but not very clean. Papa John's delivered to your entertainment table was a plus. Swimming pool was free and with the slots not too busy. Nice to have soft play and arcades. Soft play could have been cleaner though, it was 9am one day we used it with sticky sweet wrappers everywhere.. Lift doesn't work at the entertainment venue so you either need to carry the pram up the stairs or find someone to let you in the back door. We had a great time!

We stayed for 5 days at Riviere Sands with two boys aged 11 and 8. The site was really nice and the caravan was lovely for a saver, clean and well equipped. You can access the beach from the caravan site but it is a steep walk back up or can access through the bluff in. We ate from cooks and papa johns which were both lovely. There?s not much around the site so you had to drive or use public transport to get around which we didn?t mind. Welcome staff and the staff of an evening were all lovely. The nighttime entertainment was ok although I think the quizzes ect for adults could have been better organized. The pool was a bit small and cold and they seem to shut the outdoor area two hours before the pool closes? which is where the slides are. Mini golf is very cheap but small but they still enjoyed it. I personally booked this haven because of the activities that were ?supposed? to be available, for example, surf school, den building and fire lighting however non of that was available during our stay. Other than Archery, there was not a lot for older outdoorsy kids to do. Most of the activities were aimed at younger children or arts and crafts, so I was very disappointed with this. The one activity that was on offer that they were excited to do was the aqua jets, however when we turned up for our slot they said it had been cancelled due to problems with the jets. Whilst I understand things happen, I wasn?t informed it had been cancelled until we were stood there in our swim gear so that was really frustrating. I asked if they could do an alternative activity instead which they sorted out for them and the lifeguards made it really fun for them and they had a great time (Zack and I can?t remember the other name). However that was the only activity that was age appropriate for them really. I went to hire body boards as again, this was advertised as being available however they said they only had three available to hire so ended up paying over the odds from the mini market. Shouldn?t advertise something that isn?t available. The main bar is small compared the the amount of guests on site, if you didn?t get in at 6:30 you wouldn?t get a table until 8:30-9ish. Overall we did have a nice time but bear in mind there is not much for older children when booking. The other Haven half an hour away seemed to have more to offer.

We just got home from a week away here and are so happy with the holiday we had. The caravan was very nice and clean. The entertainment was brilliant. And the kids loved the activities they did. Preston who run the activities was lots of fun and always got my kids excited and involved. He brought my shy daughter out of her shell. So thank you ?

This experience is the worst for me and my family. The place of residence is dirty, the toilet flashlight does not work properly. I booked activities for my son and paid through the application, and when I arrived at the specified time, I did not find anyone. When I inquired, they told me that the activity was canceled because there were not enough employees, and they did not return my money! I rented towels during my week of holiday, paid £15 and £10 deposit and they told me they would return them to my account when I left and did not refund any money. tbf the amount is very small and I don't bother about it, but I was annoyed by the method. On the other side, the staff are kind, the evening program is great, the restaurant?s food is delicious and cheap, and the store?s prices are acceptable. But to be more fair, I was expecting better than that after traveling 6 hours from Manchester to spend happy times with my family, but unfortunately I was let down. Not worth the money and the travel effort.

The static home was spotless ! Smelt like a dream when we arrived. Perfect location for everything we needed. Bar staff were so friendly . Band on Friday night was great ! Welcoming staff were so helpful, couldn?t have asked for better direction. To top it off the weather was perfect, making our stay even better with the amazing views from the site. We?ll be back!

The Mrs booked one hurrah just before school is back and what an amazing idea! Very welcoming staff, this is the ideal place for a 4 days with a child. It?s very clean and only 5 mins walk to a beautiful beach where there?s a very good pub with outside seating with a view! We will definitely come back!

We had a Fab 3 Night Break, When we arrived we were so overwhelmed with the stunning views from our Accommodation and once inside it was very well maintained and well equipped with everything, We had booked a Bronze Caravan but we were pleasantly surprised that we had been upgraded and this really did make our stay even more enjoyable, It was all about the Views for us. The Park is on the Small Side but was enough for us and they have plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained.Sadly we didn?t get a chance to experience the Entertainment Lounge we left it till our last night but when we arrived we could not get a Table/chairs due to It being very busy but other than that I would Highly Recommend Rivere Sands we personally can?t wait to return.

Appalling , tried to use the bluff Inn attached to the Haven Site you have to book on line to get any sort of food if you can get online to book that is! We were told by other customers not to both over a 2 hr wait for food . Then the pub closed the kitchen 1 1/2 hr early before the advised 9pm finish. Went back the following morning for breakfast and the man behind the bar was extremely rude and aggressive to me husband in front of our autistic daughter to the point we walked out not getting food. Went to make a complaint to Haven with regards to how we were treated and 2 days later I am still waiting for a call back from the food and beverage manager Philip at Haven. Disgusting customer service from the Bluff Inn and Haven

Excellent location. Lovely site, little smaller than your usual haven, but actually better! Swimming pool great, arcades and entertainment. The views are stunning. The beach is out of the world! Our first visit, but we loved it! Can easy walk around the site, no reason to drive. Every member of staff is so good with kids, and they work so hard!

This is a lovely caravan park, and it's right on top of one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall. We stayed in a saver caravan as a family of 3, it was cosy but it was clean and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was clean, has an indoor and outdoor bit (you can swim through) and also has a small slide outside which the kids love. The clubhouse was good, has all the usual arcades, toy/sweet shop, soft play etc. we only went once in the evening so can't comment on entertainment. There is the bluff inn nearby which was also nice and has great views. It also only takes 5 minutes to walk so you don't need to drive. There is a train station to get into St Ives but it's about a 45 minute walk so you can either park in the centre of Hayle or go to St Erth. There is also a bus that goes from outside the park. All in all this is a great caravan park, and the beach and views definitely make it.

Stayed a week in July, caravan was fine (apart from not having hot water to wash dishes). I was sent TWICE to the wrong guest car park by receptionist and reassured that I won?t be fined as a guest. And if I do, holiday park will deal with it. One week and one £100 fine later, I was told that there?s nothing Riviere Sands can do, after apologising for miscommunication. I should have added that £100 to stay at a nicer place. We won?t be recommending you. Please train your staff and put clear signs to the ?safe? parking location.
