Struggling to give it one star. Only visit it once a year for a week and never found any of the staff willing to give you at least a smile except for one who works on the tabacco counter even if she is suffering with hayfever. Last week as usual racks for stocking shelves blocking most aisles with staff tutting or rolling their eyes at you. Last time I will ever use it after checkout staff were barking orders at shoppers who had to checkout their own shopping. Quite vile people. Using lidl's cleaner and cheaper shopping experience with happier staff. Cant believe I used to travel further to Asda.

Nice bright store with helpful staff. Only downside its busy with holiday makers in the summer months but 8f you shop early or late in the day they are not usually there

Popped in yesterday 11/6/25 with my elderly disabled parents. When we got to the trolly area outside we met a staff member called Jon. He spotted my dad was unsteady and helped guild him to the electric scooters. When and fetched a car and explained fully how to use it. Later while leaving we saw the same staff member who came straight over and said don?t worry about taking the scooter back just worry about getting my dad in the car he will deal with the scooter. Noticing my dad had a bad cut on his hand (from a crash he was involved with on the Sunday) he fetched a first aider. I didn?t catch her name but even when my dad nah it?s fine will sort it later, the lady insisted that she cleaned it and covered it. Please pass my thanks on to these people.

I?m not a huge Asda fan, if I?m honest but that?s another story. As far as Asda stores go this is one of the best I?ve been too in terms of cleanliness and store layout.
The toilets are at the far end of the store, half way along by the clothes.
Car park is big, plenty of space usually and has good access with those with kids or disabilities.
Overall it?s a pleasant experience for a supermarket.

Regularly come here. It can be busy as seasonal but it's always got what I need and george and cafe are great. Also, toilets are always spotless. Could do with new trolleys though, as salt air takes its toll on them. Staff seem a happy bunch too.

Ordered an online shop from Asda when we were coming on holiday last week to be delivered between 6-7pm on our arrival day. Unfortunately what should have took us 5- 6 hours max to get there ended up being 10 due to an accident on the m5. We called Asda and spoke to their online team who were dreadful and didn?t seem to understand that we weren?t going to be there and just kept asking if we would get there for 6.50pm. I explained several times that we were in stand still traffic and we had no idea what time but he just kept saying the shopping will arrive around 6.50pm. I asked if the delivery could be rescheduled to the following day. I was told that wasn?t an option and then I asked can we cancel and get a refund. I was told that wasn?t an option either. I then asked if the driver can leave the shopping outside the house. That was also not an option . Eventually I asked to be transferred to the store directly. He wasn?t happy about doing this until I asked to speak to a manager. He then put me through to a lovely lady who offered a refund or rescheduling for the following day which i explained is what I had asked for and she was surprised that I was told neither can be done. I can?t remember her name, but she was a manager and I think he name began with a B. She was very accommodating and understanding of a stressful start to our holiday. The following day a driver called me around 9.30 and dropped our shopping off 30 minutes later. He was also so friendly and helpful giving advice on the local area. What a lovely team you have there in Hayle thank you!

We gave a £20 note to pay for our shopping and the cashier didn't look properly and thought we had given £10. They refused to give us the correct change, resulting in a promise of a call back the next day. They didn't call us the next day, we called them and the manager had no idea of what had happened the night before. They said once the cash was sorted from the day before they would call us back if it was £10 out. When they eventually called us back they were adamant the tills were balanced, which is impossible as they had our £10. Weirdly, they gave us our £10 anyway, which implies either the till wasn't in fact balanced like they said or perhaps they suspected the cashier didn't get it right? Or maybe the cashier took our £10 and they suspected this? I'm not sure what on earth happened with the whole situation but the manager went straight into angry mode when I was surprised she didn't hear of our issue which I thought was quite sad really. Anyway, one extra star given for the truly lovely customer service lady who was an absolute gem!

Delivery driver, Joe. What an amazing service I received from him. When some of my delivery was missing, he contacted the store, arranged for it to be replaced, drove back to the store then to my property to ensure my delivery was complete. Outstanding customer service, thank you Joe

The worst supermarket in the area by far.
Shelf labelling of prices is often wrong. Layout is weird. Poor selection and high prices.
You're better off going to Lidl if you want to shop in Hayle, or pop over to Penzance to Morrisons, Tesco or Sainsbury's
