We have visited on several occasions before and normally it's good, Today ,My wife and i both felt the meals were a lot smaller than normal, i had Beer battered onions that were so overcooked i couldn't taste the onion , won't be in a rush to go back for a while

We didn?t get a chance to try the food, and honestly, we won?t be going back to find out. Upon arrival, there was an unpleasant smell that made us hesitate, but we were hungry and charging the car, so we decided to stay.
Unfortunately, the experience ended before it began. We were informed that dogs are not allowed inside at all?not even in the bar area?and that we?d need to sit outside in the rain. The staff member delivering the news didn?t seem particularly sympathetic, either. In this day and age, it?s surprising to find a venue with no provision whatsoever for guests with dogs.
If you?re a dog owner, this place may not be worth your time.

Always go here when in holiday and never had any problems. Wasn?t too busy when we went, seated nearly straight away and drink orders taken. Food orders taken and arrived quickly, steaks were absolutely fantastic, tasted amazing.

It was an okay but unremarkable dining establishment. They did forgot our Onion Rings that was supposed to be part of the Mixed Grill. We reminded them twice but we never did get them.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn for a week on a business trip. Breakfast was included and we ate our evening meals in there.
Breakfast was awful, miserable staff (with the exception of one gentleman in a striped shirt) Every time you asked for something there was a problem, no poached eggs at all. I asked for a runny fried egg but was told it comes how it comes. Half of what you ordered wasn?t sent out. The first day the bacon wasn?t cooked properly so the next morning we asked for it to be cooked a little more so they sent out inedible burnt bacon after hearing them in the kitchen laughing about it. The bread was stale - I just don?t mean slightly either! There was no coffee so we were told we would have to make do with instant (which is Nescafe creosote) the fruit with the orange in was dry and FULL of pips. Now the evening meals. The Mexican Taco dish, eating my flip flop would have quite possibly been better. The chicken was so dry I struggled to swallow it. I had the smallest amount of sour cream (less than a teaspoon) and the waitress was completely ignoring us. Again the man got me more even though he wasn?t our server.
Another night we were rushed out the restaurant at 0900 because they wanted to clean the table for the next day.
Our final evening we arrived at 0800 - 20 late for our booking and were told we could only order if we ordered very quickly as they were expecting a table of 5. (The restaurant was empty!) After 20 minutes of nobody taking our order but the staff all moaning about the restaurant, we got up and ordered from the bar. We were waiting to order more drinks but we were ignored, as by now the staff were so visibly not happy with something. We paid and left. You may ask why we went back, as we were working 11hr days, we just wanted to eat and sleep. Deliveroo was at least a 60+ minute wait.If I had of had a choice, trust me I wouldn?t have gone back. I wish I could say this was one incident and one member of staff but with the exception of the kind gentleman who seems to hold the restaurant up. The rest have no business being in the hospitality industry. I would rate the man a lot higher than the rest. No wonder the place is usually quite empty which makes me laugh as if you don?t book they won?t seat you.
I have told my company to never book any of our staff into the Premier Inn next door as the restaurant is so bad - and trust me, this restaurant has just also lost the Premier Inn a lot of money.

Horrible the manager accused me in front of other customers of not paying then went to hotel found out they hadn't done the payment yet and shouted at reception staff then stormed off with out any apology this women needs to be fired she has no customer services skill at all and is rude to everyone I work for multi million pound company and none of the managers treat they staff or they customers like this I highly suggest this women gets fired she is unprofessional and rude and has no business in working with people never seen a women on such a power trip she should of called me to the side explaned there a problem and we could of sorted it out instead she went on a massive power trip even tho she was in wrong as the reception charged the payment after to card with no problems

Robbie was so welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.A lovely person.Gill also was lovely and friendly.The chef really knows how to cook.Food was stunning..A++++.Good sized portions.It was clean and very organised and no long waits for food.In all a really lovely experience. Only wish I could give 10 stars.Would highly recommend.

Good food with prompt service. We visited on the spur of the moment and were quickly found a seat and enjoyed an excellent meal.

Took advantage of the kids eat free with an adult.( meal deal).
Disappointed to see they have removed the kids dessert and now have a starter of garlic bread, crisps or vegetables.
Nevertheless, we ordered 4 adults meals and 2 kids.
Kids didnt want a 1st course.
The bill disclosed as the kids didn't have a starter, they didn't qualify for the kids meal deal.... The advert did not state that they must have a starter
The advert was therefore very misleading. I have therefore reported this to the ASA.
In terms of the server Abigail. I found her to be very rude and I noticed the dirty looks she was giving us. She could not explain why the kids had to have a starter, even though this was not stated on the advert. We also felt that she was rushing us as she didn't give us time to decide what meals and deserts we wanted. I asked her twice to give us some more time.
The whole experience was a disaster.
We will not be returning or will be recommending this place.
Extremely disappointed.

Can't complain at all. We've never had a bad meal in here. Food is always nice, presented well. And staff are always lovely

Cannot complain about the food or service. The lovely server we had was polite, friendly and very helpful. Quick to take orders, deliver drinks ect. Food came out quickly and was as described and okay. Wait for table to be cleared for next course was quick and efficient. It's the pub that let's it all down. Tired, very worn and not very clean. Definitely in need of a deep clean or refurbishment. Well done to the server though, she showed how it should be done. 5 stars for her.
