Just visited the Ship Inn for a drink with my wife and M-in-L and was totally ripped off by the price. I questioned the price for the low quality sauvigion blanc that was charged at £8.50 for a "medium" glass. The measure was small and the price was more than that found in a London pub.The girl with all her piercings was surly from the start. We went to another pub afterwards and the price for a medium glass of white wine was £6.50. The quantity was larger, better quality and @ 30% cheaper. The men's toilets were grubby. This is the definition of a tourist trap

Loved your pub, very inviting, love how old it is and all the nooks and crannies, and all the nick naks on the shelves and hangings on the walls. We had the roast on Sunday evening it was delicious and although late to start the quiz we were invited to join in. It was great. We then had lunch the next day and popped in again quickly the same evening for a beverage.Well worth a visit ?

The four of us visited several times on our visit to Fowey and loved it every time! Food was gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. It was like a home away from home. Highly Recommend!!

A Sunday trip out to Fowey, only living 45 minutes away we have only visited once before. Walking around we saw that the pub was the oldest in town so went in for a drink. We were lucky enough to get a table by the lovely open fire. As we were now comfortable in our surroundings decided to have a Sunday roast which I can honestly say was perfect with plenty of veg and everything on the plate was very tasty ? The price was also very good. We will definitely go back for another visit. Looking forward to it already.

Great little pub with cosy atmosphere, good beers and an open fire. Best pub in Fowey I reckon.

Didn't stay, so no room rating, but the Ship is always a great pub to stop by. Christmas Eve, two small (hungry) children and an excited puppy in tow, and they catered to us brilliantly. It's just a cozy local pub, good beer and filling food. Go visit.

I don't know how I have missed this place every time I have visited Fowey, it's fantastic.Proper pub with loads of atmosphere, lovely roaring fire, we popped in for coffee but ended up staying for lunch as it was so nice and the menu looked great. We were not disappointed, the food was great and really good value. Plenty of gluten free options.

Have been coming to The Ship for years, and latterly for their excellent fish pie. Piping hot, big chunks of fish, and a great sauce. Great pub grub.

Proper pub. Fantastic food. Great location. Dog friendly. Great place to eat, drink and relax. The Fish Pie was incredible!Food & drinks: Really, really good food. We had their burger and fries on day one and came back to try the fish pie the following day. Both meals were delicious, but the fish pie was seriously good!

only one of the few places open on a monday but looked OK so decided to try it , WOW don't expect and smiley faces or friendly service , but clearly stems from the owner who was exceptionally rude and I guess the staff learn from the head fish ... food we had was OK nothing to rave about .... would I spend my money here again NEVER ....
