Absolutely fantastic meal at Sam's!! Atlantic cod and chips, king prawn scampi and burgers, everything was perfect. We had a roof top terrace table which was just perfect. Excellent service, the staff could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back

My initial thought was the menu looks quite pricey, but actually it was fair given the quaility of the food. We had the burgers which were home made and really good. The service was very good, and I liked the pop art on the walls and the play list from the past was great too

Absolutely fantastic meal at Sam?s. Family run (I believe). All staff were really friendly and welcoming. Great service. GREAT food! Top tip: if you go for the Bouillabaisse, don?t get the mussels to start (!!).

We called in as a group of 5 and a dachsund,without a booking and although they were very busy they found us a place to sit our host showed us personally to our table, he was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming All staff were helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble The food and drink were outstanding, fantastically presented fresh and delicious We can't recommend enough we will definitely return sam escorted us personally out and he was the perfect host and thanked us We will be back

The scallops were divine! But then we took the seafood special you can tell this was not fresh unfortunately. The moules tasted good BUT were very sandy impossible to eat. When i said that to them they said well they come from the sea.. i mean of course they don?t grow on trees but you can wash them! The prawns were miserable :( the calamari were ok the sardines ok.

Great food with local pilsner and cider on tap. Fresh specials board for fish options. Good menu choice but Slightly overpriced.

Had high expectations based on reviews but the food was barely edible. Humous was chunky with no garlic or olive oil whatsoever. Bread was worse than store-bought ? no flavor. No seasoning on main courses. Obviously the chef has no experience or doesn?t taste what they cook.

It is always a pleasure to sit down and Sam's and eat their delicious Thai Red Mullet, the atmosphere has a unique 1950's-1980's vibe and the food is fantastic! I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of seafood.
