The location is superb benefiting from lovely views to the front. I have to say the barmaid was exceptional. Asked a question, she gave an answer (which fitted with the menu description correctly) but went to check. That was really good because one ingredient could cause a issue. Therefore, perfect service and very professional. Then, a simple meal but the best fish we have had for a decade (and we have an excellent fish and chip shop in the village).Overall, just excellent ? ??

Squeezed in past a small group of people smoking on the stairs who turned out to be the staff!! We ordered the 8oz burgers and 2 drinks from the young man at the bar. Sadly, the atmosphere was rather lacking. Whilst waiting, we could smell our food burning, unfortunately. Charred burgers and buns were served to us. The burgers were £18 each!. When it came to paying, we checked the bill and found we had been overcharged. All in all, it's not a great experience. and they charge the same premium prices as the lovely restaurants nearby.

Location is fantastic if you don't mind a late night! (It was regatta week)Although ear plugs are provided. The room and bathroom were very clean and well equipped. Great coffee machine. The Shower sadly was not a strong enough flow for my liking, but good and hot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, it was regatta week, they were extremely busy and over worked, but still polite and helpful.Rooms: We had a twin room, very comfortable, with a sofa, great coffee machine and kettle, iron, ironing board, safe, hairdryer. The bathroom was very clean, towels and shower gel/shampoo etc provided. Shower over bath. Plenty of room. The other family member had a double room, with much the same.Nearby activities: Being on the Quay, everything is within 2 mins.Walkability: Absolutely central, we parked on a rented driveway a 5-10 minute walk depending on up or down the hill. The steps into the property are steep, and all rooms are upstairs, but the stairs inside are very shallow. Shopping/eateries/ boating all immediately outside front/back door.Food & drinks: Good menu, lovely full choice breakfast.

A very nice place, great view from the hotel, directly over the small harbor. The hotel looks rather dingy from the outside, but the rooms are clean and the breakfast is super fresh and delicious, really delicious!Food & drinks: Excellent

Dog friendly, the best fish pie I've ever had...... And don't get me started on how good the white bait is ! Five stars for the meal we had.Food & drinks: If you order 2 meals and a starter chances are one will be a disappointment........ NOT THE CASE here.

Was just visiting Fowey as a grockle and went in for dinner with family at last minute. Great pub, very friendly, limited menu but good value well presented food. Family and dog friendly would visit again.

We stayed there to be able to explore Fowey and to save time on walking to/from. And we weren?t disappointed - staff were very friendly, views were great and all the amenities were at the stones through. Not that we were throwing any stones ?.And most importantly the hotel allowed well behaved dogs (photo attached).Breakfast is a bit later than expected (9-10am) but I was kindly offered a packed lunch to die for!
