I have found the Salvation Army a complete let down. My family who are currently Salvationists ostracised me when they discovered I was only half sibling, as my mother had an affair.
I raised Safeguarding concerns of an experience while a youth in the Army.
I am personally glad I left the organisation. They advised my Step dad and mother to leave a Corp and not tell me I was another man?s child.
These are not Christian behaviours and far from it.
Nearly everyone I knew as a Salvationist ostracised me. So I don?t know how the great William Booth would feel about these things.
? while there?s one dark soul, I?ll fight!?
Those were the words of a leader. The Salvation Army have appeared to have lost their direction in my opinion!

I am a devout Christian but kneel myself at the CofE. However, my wife, Lizzie, can wear the Uniform and I sometimes visit the Temple in Falmouth. Such lovely people, with a relaxed Christian outlook. I enjoy visiting and shall do so until I'm at the Pearly Gates! Thank you Andrew and Nicola, God be with you both and everyone else.

You can be sure you will be always welcomed at Falmouth Salvation Army with kindness and warmth which we have always felt and can?t wait to get back there as soon as this awful virus had left us all in peace

I have been a patron of the Falmouth Care and Share shop for longer than I care to admit! Always friendly, helpful and an absolute treasure trove of quality goods. I was recently in need of hockey shin pads for my daughter at short notice, who came up trumps that very day? Yep! I always feel my purchases and donations are helping the local community and through this page I can see that it does. Keep up the great work!
