Quiant old pub. Friendly helpful staff and owner. Great food.Just be aware the menu on board outside is takeaway menu not the prices you pay if eat indoors!

Arrived whilst backpacking SWCP. Muddy/smelly/tired. A really warm welcome from the lady I assume is the owner, and also from the locals. Good beer and food.

Delicious Sunday roast at lunchtime - the vegetarian nut roast was one of the best I?ve had. Love that the roast comes with cauliflower cheese as standard! Lovely cosy atmosphere with roaring fires and friendly staff. Great stop after a walk on the coast path.Food & drinks: Roast deal of 2 courses for 17 pounds felt like good value - and it was very tasty with big portions

A great Sunday lunch after a long coast path walk. The pub is lovely, as is the village itself. A wonderful place to stop for a few hours. Our meals were huge, tasty and exactly what we needed after a six mile walk! We will be back!

Amazing location and a very warm welcome with an impressive range of food and drink options on offer. The location makes this place sing rather than the quality of the food. It wasn?t bad but it didn?t make us want to return to eat. The chilli sauce and salad dressing accompanying our food tasted manufactured (very Tesco Value or at best Waitrose Essential out of a bottle rather than homemade) and the portion sizes were disappointing for the price. We don?t begrudge paying more for location but only if the food lives up to it. We would certainly recommend and return for a drink but not for food.

Challenging to access as the road is very steep for a wheelchair and parking is challenging, but I found a way! After checking in with a local, and as all the boats were in, I parked by the boats and left a note with my number in the window next to my blue badge, with an assurance I was close by and could move it immediately. This allowed me to access both the beach and the Inn and village in general. It's a lovely spot, very wild at this time of year and well worth a visit. In the summer and autumn it was too busy for me to access despite trying multiple times, but today was perfect. After half an hour on the beach just enjoying being there and listening to the waves, I enjoyed a trip course Sunday roast and then a mulled wine.Staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful. Wheelchair access is not recommended due to the slope outside and a step as high as a kerb, but if you can wobble on crutches it's fineThe food was freshly prepared, local and delicious, a roaring fire made the dining room very cosy and half way through lunch, after admiring all the nautical wall decorations, I became aware of the sea view outside the window!Signs advertise rooms from £60, which for a night here might make a thoughtful Christmas present for family members who don't mind a long drive? and seems very affordable.Lots of local, independent businesses (not all open year around) and a strong community spirit make this a lovely place to visit and this Inn, a fabulous place to explore from. I haven't seen the rooms other than in photos, but can recommend both the village and refuelling in the Inn over lunch.Walkability: The Inn has a few steps but can be negotiated on crutches very easily, stone floors were much safer than smooth tile floors for my wet crutches, they did not slip.Staff brought food and drink to the table.Very steep hills/roads with limited foot paths, you will need to navigate in the road.Traffic is VERY slow, navigating right turns and steep slopes, and drivers are patient and friendly. Whilst the terrain is challenging, it is doable, and I had plenty of offers of help so I've no doubt others will be fine too.Gravel beach is accessible on crutches but there are chains for the boats that obstruct wheelchair access even with off-road wheels.Parking is available in a car park on the edge of the village but it's challenging to get from the car park to the inn with limited mobility. (Worth it though)I would recommend calling ahead and making arrangements or asking permission to park close by if there's a spot available.

Visited for the second time on our family holiday in the summer. The food menu is not extensive but everything is well prepared. Fabulous seafood as you would expect- the crab sandwich was beautiful as was the seafood chowder. The service has been friendly both times and we would definitely return! Cadgwith is a small bit beautiful place to stop off and this makes for a great lunch spot

Previously visited the pub for drinks while walking in the area and noticed they did winter special rate breaks . As we live not far away, we booked for the Friday evening so we could also enjoy the Cadgwith singers with their sea shanties . Can't recommend the pub enough ,very friendly staff and loved the singing. The food is brilliant ,fresh and good portions. The accomodation is very clean with everything you need and the breakfast was lovely with good quality produce used. We didn't take our dogs with us on this occasion but dogs are very welcomed. Thank you to all the staff and look forward to visiting again... Neal and Maria Allen

Really disappointed with the Cadgwith Cove Inn. Planned to stop after a day of walking following seeing previous good reviews. However staff were totally disinterested in engaging with us and menu (once seemingly begrudgingly handed to us) was quite pricey (£18 for a burger as a base example, more for local fish which was what we were after) and not very inventive. Disappointed also to not see more local cornish food and drinks on offer. Needless to say we found somewhere else for dinner rather than sticking around.

Dropped in for lunch after a walk in the area. Lovely pub, full of character with a roaring fire. Landlord very welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our Thai seafood curry! Delicious. Shame we are going home tomorrow or we?d have visited again.

This is one of the best pub/restaurants I have ever been to. I came to Cagdwith with my family and friends for a week holiday for the first but definitely not the last time. Helen, Garry and the staff were amazing, extremely friendly and hospitable. The food is incredibly delicious and a great range of refreshing drinks after a breezy walk. We loved the atmosphere with the locals whilst watching the rugby, folk night and the sea shanties. Thank you for the lovely evenings Steve

Fantastic pub and ambience. Friendly bar staff and landlady. Great beer too. Ate at the pub twice during the week and between us we about covered the menu. Lovely food and value for money. Well worth a visit and the folk night and sea shanty singers are an additional bonus.
