It?s been an absolute nightmare!! I arrived at Bosannet at 8pm after a 5 hours train trip, absolutely exhausted and didn?t expect that I was supposed to receive instructions from the hotel to get my own key. I followed the guidance provided on the little sign left in the entrance but nobody answered. I waited for 55 minutes and ran into other guests who told me they got their instructions on email and by a message.
Frustrated and tired, I had to book another hotel, and that?s when Bosannet decided to call back and said that they tried to contact me but I never replied and that my 8pm check in was too late.
They left no email or message, no guidance where I could follow a proper check in. Oh and by the way, check in is between 4-6pm and if you arrive later, good luck because it will be up to them to welcome you or not.
I booked all this through Booking.com who isn?t willing to refund me.
If you are planning to have a pleasant time in Falmouth avoid this hotel

Great little spot to stay whilst visiting Falmouth for a few days. Our room had a beautiful view of gylly and was very comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of options. Convenient parking also.

Absolutely fantastic location - 1 minute walk from Gylly beach with incredible views from the terrace. We stayed in the Garden room which was beautifully appointed with a HUGE bed and lovely window seating. Breakfast was excellent, served in a lovely dining room and service all round was impeccable. They even have an 'honestly bar'. One of the best we've stayed in.

We miss this place already! We had a perfect view of the sea, a little nook, & even when the weather was bad, we sat looking out to the sea & just relaxed. David & Clive are wonderful hosts, kind & helpful. We felt right at home. The breakfast was good & the rooms were clean (although small for my liking but that's not their fault). It is also a 30 minute drive away from Lizard Point & many other places. The town centre is a 10-15 minute walk away. The beach was a minute's walk away. The sound of the waves kept us company throughout & lulled us to sleep at night. Really didn't want to leave!

We booked a double room for Easter Saturday which we no longer needed due to unforeseen health issues. Our booking was non refundable but we had the option to resell the room. However, we felt we would offer it to a homeless person instead so they could experience a night sleep and a full breakfast. The person we gave the room to (a middle aged male) turned up at this hotel the Saturday early evening, he presented them with the booking number and our details, only to be turned away with some spill they needed more information on the booking. This man could not have given them any more details than if we were there ourselves booking in!I complained to the hotel only to be told nobody had turned up and they have CCTV to prove this and that this man must have visited the wrong hotel. I checked again with the man and he is 100 percent sure he had gone to this hotel!I now have mix feelings on this hotel When I initially called them to advise we no longer needed the room on Easter Saturday and asked if we could instead upgrade and use it the following Saturday they said they couldn't (or wouldn't.) When I asked why, I was advised it don't work like that as it's all to do with the computer system wouldn't allow it So this opens my eyes that they're incapable of human empathy or going that extra mile because they have to rely on a computer to decide how to treat a customer I have emailed this hotel twice now and have only received one initial response. They are clearly sticking to their guns and feel they have done everything rightI am not going to call or email them again so hopefully through this feedback they can re look into this situation and donate the money that was paid to use the room that wasn't used and donate it to Shelter! That way you're not making a profit from a service you didn't give.

Lovely B&B, clean and warm with a good shower. The rooms don't seem to have numbers, which I think is a nice touch, we had the "Stracey" room which was tastefully decorated and a good bed. We like the occasional trips to Falmouth and will definitely stay at the Bosanneth again.Walkability: Just a couple of minutes from Gyllyngvase beach and coast path and about 15 minutes to Pizza Express.
