We popped into The Elm Tree Tea House without any expectations and were completely overwhelmed by how cute and lovely it is! While there aren?t many tables inside, we were lucky with the weather and sat out in the beautiful garden.
The service was very quick and everyone was super friendly?such a welcoming atmosphere. We had delicious scones with tea, which were not only incredibly tasty but also very reasonably priced.
We?ll definitely be back soon for the full afternoon tea experience. Highly recommend this little gem?such friendly people and a wonderful spot to relax!

I've now been here a fair few times after meaning to for ages. Always a lovely atmosphere and very kind service. Coffees and cakes are always lovely and taste very fresh. There is limited data service and no Wi-Fi, but on the plus side this does encourage lots of convo and the beautiful surroundings are far nicer than anything on your phone.

I visited The Elm Tree on an off chance with my partner and what a treat it was. I was met with the most glorious Ploughman's lunch with a beautiful selection of Cornish cheeses (yarg, brie and cheddar) whilst he enjoyed one of their selection of paninis. We indulged in a piece of their lemon and blueberry sponge which was fantastic! Super moist and made in house. Can't fault the food or service, a real treat.
