The duty manager was positivity rude, including berating a member of staff who seemed new (right infront of us) My meal wasn't as described and was never once asked how my meal was. The waitress made us feel an inconvenience to her. The food was ok, if we paid full price I would think different and would probably never return, would rather pay more for a place that wants custom.

Clean, airy, friendly staff, prices as expected but children's food quality very poor - had to buy additional chips and an expensive dessert to create a positive experience.

We had a family evening meal for my husbands birthday and took our own birthday cake. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. The cake was delivered perfectly when we were ready. We had vouchers for money off and as we were splitting the bill between us it was a bit difficult for Emma to work out as they were for Table Table and Carnon Downs is Beafeater so it took a bit of time. Emma did it with good heart and we all had a lot of laughs with her while doing it. In fact we laughed with her from the moment we walked in. We were also served by Wendy and Ben who were just as funny and chatty. Thank you Emma, Wendy and Ben for a thoroughly enjoyable perfect evening. X

Update 23rd July 2025 - unfortunately had to come to this godforsaken place again and well, the service still terrible, young waitress just rolled her eyes at me for pointing out another table of people were waiting first after having taken an order for men who came in afterwards... oh the joys... avoid this place where possible!
Honestly the worst, most overpriced (for what it is) food establishment I've ever been to, putting even McDonald's and Wetherspoons ahead of them!! Slow service (over an hour for food), bad food, lack of variety particularly for dietary requirements. Just overall terrible.

Awful place. Steak was burnt completely so sent it back, waited half an hour for the fresh meal so everyone else had finished by the time it arrived, new meal was supposed to be a lean fillet steak which was fatty and rubbery. 25 minute wait for desserts and then we were overcharged at the end which took another 10 minutes to sort out.

i felt so abused by staff , unreal.
usually i never leave negative feedback but this is you would not believe if you don?t see it.
Table no been cleaned for probably a day all filthy and sticky .
music to loud, staff so rude and dismissive.

Food was very good, but the service was very poor, only one lady serving, very rude and demanding. Not the right approach at all. I love leaving tips as I used to be a waitress I'm the past and I know how good it is to feel appreciated. But couldn't bother today. She didn't deserve it at all.

Cold steak, it happened once so maybe the staff had a bad day , but even so they should not on my money , the lady bringing the food was angry like she didn't liked her job . I guess it depends on the day or how the moon is .......

Worst steak ever! Really disappointed as we were all looking forward to the rump steak. Tough, tasteless and burnt in places went well with the rock hard peas!Never again.

Consistently good food and generous portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. Good vegetarian options available, I recommend the mushroom & halloumi burger, and the millionaire's triple-choc brownie sundae is ridiculously good.
