It's probably the best Pizza we've had. Excellent service, great beers and wines. The staff are excellent. If you allow dog or dogs they are made most welcome.
This place can't be faulted.
There?s also Churchfield's car park almost opposite, this was free after 17:00 until 09:00 hours. Also 2 hours free between 09:00 and 17:00 hours.

Very good traditional food and beer.
Extremely helpful and friendly bar staff and locals, definitely worth popping in if you are in the area.

Went in today was told by a kid bar maid there was no food today. Not welcoming. Run down dark interior.
Local came after us was laughing at us with bar maid as we left.

What a little gem. The staff have got the balance completely right, a real locals pub with a real Cornish feel and atmosphere. Lovely little restaurant, lovely food, good portions great value for money! Lovely professional bar maids. Exactly what we needed in our way home after a long day at Royal Cornwall show.
Thank you we will definitely return when we?re in the area again.

I stopped here after getting off the bus in the village having been forced to abandon a trail run across the whole coast path. The barmaid was friendly and the locals were kind.
Feels like a well loved local, and I'm sure is valued by those who live nearby.
I wouldn't mind stopping by again if I ended up in this neck of the woods.

Stopped after driving about three hours headed toward tintagel. Just needed a quick meal a bathroom break and sometime to get reoriented. Waitress bartender immediately took us to a seat in the restaurant which was at best really odd. I'm usually pretty good at describing places I can't describe this one. Basically it was a dive american type part biker spoon with a parrot. Menu was pretty much basic english pub food. Ordered two steak and ale pies and a couple of colas. Foods took a little time but they are cooking it fresh. Surprised. The pie was quite good. Lots of flavor, puff pastry was nice on top. Chips were probably the best ones we had on our current trip. I'm not really sure how to recommend this place. I'm sure in the evenings this place is something out of a hollywood b movie. I guess it's kind of a basic english dive type local pub. Food a bit expensive but it didn't have a lot of options there in town either.

Strange place. Decent options on tap, good to see a real fire going. Real flowers on the tables is a nice touch.
But the squad of unfriendly locals that take up the entire bar make it awkward to actually get served. If I was the landlord I'd stop the seating at the bar and then a few more people might actually come in.
