If I could leave no stars I would. Chemist is useless, uncaring and just fob you off to someone else..they would rather you do everything through the doctor, who is busy and prefer you to use chemist when possible! They won't go out of their way to help and couldn't care less about side effects you may suffer from not helping sort an emergency prescription.I will be complaining in writing!

Very good pharmacy located in the centre of Camelford. Only parking is over the road but I was I pressed with the 4 staff on duty - 2 pharmacist's & 2 assistant's on duty. Old converted bank, much larger inside than appears from external look - very well stocked, friendly helpful staff.

Considering you have to pay over £8, you'd think the car park would be better than a bit of waste land! Got parked all right but that is because we got there early.

The staff are friendly but this completely overshadows the disorganisation and disappointment felt after every time I have to deal with their pharmacy. I am run around almost every time I have to pick up a script and it?s always the local surgeries fault or a system fault. No accountability is taken for mistakes or lost time. Several times I have had to miss medication due to their delays. If you have even the slightest possibility of avoiding this pharmacy and going elsewhere then do so. You will save yourself a lot of time, a lot of stress and hassle.

Really is the worst Boots ever. Always lengthy queues even before covid, they can never find prescriptions and their systems are all over the place. Avoid and go somewhere else.

I collect my dad's meds for him as he has trouble walking. I can't collect on my lunch break because the pharmacist or manager goes on lunch at the same time so the staff can't hand out prescriptions! So inconvenient. I've tried going from 11:30am to 2pm and get the same issues. What's going on?

Shocking service....a smile cannot correct the fact this pharmacy has left my very sick grandfather and my mother who has MS without medication on a number of occasions....never get their prescription right and it's always an issue....we have felt so let down by this service that I have had to put in an official complaint to the General Pharmaceutical Council....I do worry about the people using this service who have no one to help ensure this service is working for them or putting them at serious risk as they have with my relatives

I've had the same terrible experience as the other bad reviews here. I work in town but cant collect my prescription on my lunch hour because the pharmacist is on lunch, it seems from 12 to 2 which isn't very helpful for people who work and can only get to the pharmacy on a lunch break. Also, even if the pharmacist is in, it's often taking two visits to get my meds.

Iâ??m very happy with my experience there today. Iâ??m visiting Cornwall and had to have my prescription sent here. I arrived at Boots chemist, Camelford, relatively early, and my prescription was there waiting for me. The pharmacist was very friendly and helpful to me and also went through my prescription with me to check it was correct~ which it was.

I used Camelford Boots for just over a year. I got so fed up with the terrible service I asked Dr Nash to send my prescriptions to Tintagel. That was 3 months ago, in that time Tintagel have been amazing, always have my prescriptions and I'm in and out within a minute. That compared to Camelford it couldn't be more different. Camelford Boots is so unorganised, every time I tried to collect my prescriptions the staff would be searching through draws and cupboards then back through the draws again, then disappear out the back, then come back and tell me to come back tomorrow, I'd go back the next day and guess what... it still wasn't ready. I lost count of the times I had to go back two or three times to collect one small prescription. So glad I changed, its literally quicker to drive to Tintagel and back rather than wait in Camelford Boots.

Busy pharmacy but always served with a smile! Donâ??t believe all reviews on here!!! Theyâ??re doing theyâ??re best!! - go in and speak to the manager if thereâ??s any problems instead of posting on here? Thatâ??s the only way youâ??ll get it changed!!!
