Friendly staff however had lots of problems with my distance glasses the first pair were uncomfortable and heavy I was advised to have extra thinning on the lenses.When that was done it made the vision blurry so had another eye test and was told the thinning was causing the problem so choose different glasses which took over 3 weeks to arrive I had to keep ringing and even wrote a letter for the manager to complain but never had a reply but surprisingly the glasses came the next day and thankfully they are fine but it was a long process which started in July.

Friendly, professional staff. Children get a free pair of glasses when they order an NHS pair, loads of choice for NHS glasses (not like it used to be!).
Update: I wrote this review years ago. I've been using Specsavers Camborne ever since and they always provide excellent service.

I received a very thorough eye test, great choice of glasses at realistic prices. Friendly helpful staff.
My glasses were ready in just one week which was ideal.
I would have given 5 stars but,for the lack of privacy when I first entered the shop,this was due to my being asked personal questions in public which was not ideal. The same questions were asked when I saw the optician so,the initial public questions were not required.

Staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful, the range of frames available are extensive, probably something for everyone. No 5 stars though as the waiting time, once you have paid for your new glasses, is not acceptable. I ordered my new frames and sunglasses in plenty of time for going on holiday and they're still not ready for collection. I'm now going away with tatty horrible frames that I've had over 7 years and no sunglasses. Really not impressed. If it wasn't for how friendly the staff are it would be a 1 star review. I won't be a returning customer unfortunately.

My new glasses have been poorly manufactured. The hinge for the steam is moulded into the frame the right Hand hinged connector is pulling out of the frame. I?m going to take them back early this week. Will let you know what happens.

Arrived for my appointment. The young lady who spoke to me and did the first tests was so unfriendly. One of the machines didn't work properly, she made out it was my fault. The eye text was great. Chose my own frames. The guy who sorted out the lens etc managed to charge me wrong twice. Won't be coming back.

Couldn?t be more exasperated with such a poor service. They?ve cost me money through missed appointments and then want me to pay for a retest when they mess up on the first one.
