Store is reasonable & handy but staff rude and resemble the cast of Wrong Turn with behaviour to match.

Not a bad store. Actually essential in a small town like Bude. As the alternative is a Morrison's Supermarket or a small Co-op. However, don't go there expecting to see The Bude Tunnel as in the picture. That was just a one-off Christmas event many years past. There is still a tunnel alongside the store but that was built many years earlier to protect shoppers transiting from the carpark from our glorious Cornish weather.

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat after my Sat Nav sent me the wrong way on the A30 ? so a Pig in Blanket bun helped to refocus. It was delicious, and needless to say onto the A30 the right way ?.

So. We travelled down from Newcastle to see this tunnel in the flesh. My word, it was not a disappointment. Over 30m of perspex wonderfulness, a slightly dog legged plastic masterpiece of engineering. Absolutely no wonder it is ranked number one thing to do in Bude.

Clean and well stocked but only one till open with a long queue. This is really unacceptable when just up the road Lidl open tills whenever there is more than 2 customers waiting. Its no wonder the budget supermarkets are killing off the old guard.

I work for sainsbury myself in dartford but the woman on self checkout was the worst member of staff ever she helped other flashing red lights but just ignored ours I had to call her back to do our age restriction product ..... then when we left she said goodbye to person in front of us ignored us and said goodbye to people behind us ..... last time I go that sainsburys I will try morrisons next time
