Ive stayed here 4 times over the last 6 months. Every time the "free" wifi doesnt work. I did once pay for the "ultimate" wifi only to find that didnt work either. Virgin (who operate the wifi) totally ignored my emails and getting a refund was impossible. The hotel seems to also block mobile signals too, ive never had any signal in the rooms, but if i hold the phone 6 inches just outside the window....bang full 4G signal. Very suspicious!!!Every other hotel ive stayed in Wifi is free as standard. Stop the greed and just make it free and sack Virgin media!Parking is a pain and costs about £7 for 24 hrs.Dont bother with using the hotel "resturant" its just one "chef" microwaving pre-made meals. Plenty of other places to eat in Bude, but avoid the Bencoolen Inn. Nasty!Breakfast very good.

Can't really go wrong with a Premier Inn and this is no different... pleasant and helpful staff. Situated perfectly at the bottom of town.We got an Indian takeaway from up the road and took it back to our room, the staff kindly provided plates and cutlery. My only niggle was no parking... we had to pay to stay in the long stay council car park across the bridge but wasn't too much of a problem to be honest I'm pretty easy going and was only £6 for 24hrs which I don't think was pretty good.

I come here with my family for breakfast every weekend. The food is always fresh, tasty and hot and is an absolute bargain with 2 kids eating free per adult. The staff are amazing and always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and happy especially Kate and also the chef who goes out of his way to make sure you have the food you like and will always cook whatever you want no matter what time you come in. Best breakfast in Bude!

Our stay was lovely, room was very clean ,the manger was excellent and we had a good conversation just wishing I remember her name but had a small daughter I hope u read this your good at your job ,only complaint we have is the shef looked dirty!! Keep going out side to smoke !! And messing around with the younger female staff ,was painful to watch, didn't eat hot food as a shef with dirty whites on going out to smoke all the time was of putting.Nearby activities: Not far from town

I am sorry that I have to write a bad review, because hotel staffs were amazing! However, we?ve got a room where the bed sheet was not changed. I could see hair and dust on our pillows, duvet and bed sheet. The kettle in the room was disgusting with sticky white residue inside it.We paid for double room £70/night that weekend. Maybe it was busy and hotel could?ve been understaffed. However, a small uncleaned room with parking lot view with extremely slow wifi (my cellular signal was very week so I had to purchase wifi) was not worth this money. We pretty much regret the whole time why we decided to book this place in the first place?

Exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn. Clean and comfortable.Only downside really is that there isn't a car park. We parked at the nearby Crescent Car Park which is less than a 5 minute walk away. Also the food menu is extremely limited if you're arriving late in the day. Only options are pizza or curry which was a shame.Rooms: Room had all the usual amenities, hairdryer, TV, extra pillows. Very clean and comfortable.Walkability: You're within walking distance of the harbour, beach, all the shops and restaurants. Once you're parked up you don't really need to get in your car.
