There's only a snack menu for lunch but that was fine with us. They do pasties, jacket potatoes, sausage rolls and a sort of hot cheese sandwich. At 1pm they had no pasties and no jacket potatoes. At all. Really? The sausage roll was dry and the cheese sandwich was tasteless and soggy. The orange and poppy seed cake was lovely. Oh. And four bottles of still water - £10!

Great shop and cafes as always at the National Trust.Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, even served by a fellow Geordie.

Poor service and terrible value for money. The food was low quality, the coffee tasted like dish water. Not good, plenty of other options in this lovely little village

Man on staff gave third degree and tried to hide the loo. Had to plead for permission to use even when usung cafe.Gave clear direction to British man to find loo and move barrier he had set up to hide it from other customers. The loo is not sign posted and is kept hidden in the smaller shop behind a blue screen.Fire door to exit end shop is kept locked.Man appearing to run shops exhibits rude and unhelpful behaviour, a loo is provided but only if you are a white British male unfortunately.

Nice coastal walk to the point. Parking in Boscastle was awful with one main car park that was extremely busy.

We unfortunately chose this cafe for our Cream Tea, out of many in Boscastle! There were 6 of us, but they only had 5 scones left so one person had cake. When the first scone was cut open, it was revealed to be still frozen in the centre. The waiter apologised and took all the scones back to be microwaved. The jam came in those tiny mass produced jam pots and the servings of clotted cream were also tiny - so barely enough to cover one half a scone. We were seated by the till and a door was open behind it, so it was like sitting in a wind tunnel, as it was a nasty rainy day. I went to find the toilets, walking out of the Cafe section into the Shop section of the building. I asked a member of staff where they were and she rather rudely told me that I had better be using the Cafe. There was a blue screen blocking the toilet entrance and I was informed that only one toilet was use, so there was a long queue outside. All in all, a thoroughly disappointing experience. There must be many cafes in Boscastle that are more welcoming, more efficient, better value and serve better quality food than this cafe.

Great place to visit with National Trust Cafe & shop (no NT parking), we were located at Ilfracombe, so round trip over 100 miles. roads can be challenging if you have a large motor home wide or long over 6m as you approach the village with passing places. Good parking in the village about £1.00/hour (2023) weather for us was poor, but still worth the trip. We used our EV no charging that we could see at Boscastle. This needs to be considered in the future, hence only 4?.

Very disappointing cafe at the national trust site in Boscastle. The cafe has a very poor choice of food and they always run out of cream teas even on off peak season. The team are not very welcoming either.Boscastle is so beautiful it is such a shame about the cafe run by the national trust. It use to be lovely. It puts me off visiting these days

Visited on Wednesday 16th November 2022. The cafe and shop are within the same building and you can walk in between them without exiting the building. The range of food in the cafe is quite limited but all delivered by very friendly staff and when I tried to revisit later I found the cafe had stopped serving a full 30 mins before the scheduled closure time.

Nice cafe and gift shop in the harbour area of the picturesque village of Boscastle. Park in Cobweb car park where you can also pay using mobile app Just Park and it's then a short walk to the cafe. The cafe sells hot and cold drinks, cakes and light snacks. The shop has some lovely products including locally produced products.

Stopped at the National Trust Cafe for a bite to each before a wintry stroll along the headland. A very warm and friendly welcome from the lady behind the counter, such a happy smile and genuine warmth. We were soon sat drinking the most delicious hot chocolate and eating a nice steak pasty. We were also tempted to share a delicious looking (& tasting) millionaires shortbread. Such a lovely space to enjoy our lunch and will definitely pop in again when next in the area.

Stoped in at the cafe yesterday and we just wanted to say thanks to the 2 ladies who were working. Thank you so much for just being friendly, accommodating and demonstrating what good customer service is all about. Tons of organisations could learn a thing or two from how you operate.

Nice 30 minutes or so in the afternoon sitting by the Stour, eating and talking with family at the outside tables of the NT cafe. The cream tea was to die for - could have eaten it again if we hadn't have been going out for dinner within three hours! Will definitely be going back many more times as live in a nearby village.
