On the last day of our holiday we made a trip here specially to have a cream tea in what used to be called the pixie house many years ago when i visited as a child. We arrived 4pm and i asked for 2 cream teas and was promptly told they dont serve them despite the reviews on here saying they did with pics from reviewers. Most annoyingThe young lad did say they may start doing them. I then asked if they knew of anywhere else in the village whom does them. The woman replied with an unfriendly tone stating that everyone except them did them. I turned away muttering how unhelpful that was. The NT cafe next door was closed and the next along didnt serve them. Boscastle is not cream tea friendly lol. We had ours in the riverside pub where we were told we'd have to sit outside as the bar was full and the top area was being prepared for evening diners. So we went outside in the rain but beneath a parasol and had to order it from "Kev" the touchscreen like macdonalds. Thankfully the cream tea itself was great and the waitress very jolly and welcoming

Such a lovely atmosphere for our morning coffee, so much so that we returned for lunch! Delicious food and great portion size. We had grilled cheese, halloumi burger and wedges and it was all clearly cooked dream scratch (even the ketchup) and was utterly delicious! Could recommend this place enough.

I enjoyed my filled croissant but found the staff very impatient when I was ordering. When I asked if my coffee, which looked identical to my husband?s flat white, was a cappuccino I was told that?s the way we make them here! My photo shows what a real cappuccino looks like!

Discovered this cute café after a visit to the witchcraft museum. The small terrace was lovely and the coffee very good.

Its a shame this cafe as changed so much.Dont be fooled by its quaintness. On a hot morning i popped in for a milk shake but now dont sell them Only tea and trendy coffee.£5 for 2 teas. Its turned into a young trendy place with really loud cuban music booming at 9 am onwards..It just doesnt fit into a nice quaint harbour .
