Can't give a review on the rooms as we did not stay here. But did eat in the restaurant. Food was delicious. Service was lovely polite and kind staff. One thing I would say is it's really not the most child-friendly restaurant particularly if they're quite young.

My room was lovely and clean, a single room. Modern bathroom but had problems getting the shower to work resulting in a rather cold shower. Staff were friendly and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. Unfortunately my mattress was not comfortable and I did not sleep well. I was visiting Bodmin railway and Jail museum so it?s location was perfect. Would stay again but looking at other reviews maybe go for a double room as these rooms seem more comfortable and have good showers
Food and drinks: Evening meal was lovely and restaurant was busy with hotel guests and local residents which was nice to see. I was served by a lovely, polite young lady. My breakfast, I had pre ordered. At first I thought a bit out dated, ticking boxes of what I wanted to eat the next morning but it was good and the young man that served me was polite and helpful.

Stayed at the Westbury hotel for 19 nights due to a work commitment but I couldn?t have asked for a better place to stay. It?s immaculately clean comfy bed bathroom again immaculately clean the friendliness of all the staff was absolutely amazing. all the staff that served in the restaurant, couldn?t have done any more for you Briony was the best we eat in the restaurant just about every night ( this is called the Hoi An restaurant ) the food is delicious they give you a choice of English or Vietnamese food this hotel is easily accessible to all the major attractions Padstow 25 minutes the Eden Project 30 minutes port Isaac 30 minutes and Newquay 30 mins I will most definitely stay there again ?
Rooms: Very clean, comfy Bed shower room immaculately clean Plus, you can choose what days you want the cleaner to come in your room to change your bed to tidy your room. You could do that every day or you could do that once a week it?s completely up to you.
Nearby activities: Easily accessible to the Eden Project 30 minutes Padstow 25 minutes Newquay 30 minutes
Walkability: To the town centre not a lot there but nice for an afternoon walk.
Food and drinks: Already stated great good in the Hoi An Restaurant

My wife and I had a short break at this hotel. We really loved it. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was modern and clean and the shower worked well. The breakfasts provided were very good with ample choice. The hotel was well situated in the middle of Bodmin and made a great base for exploring Cornwall. We had two Vietamese meals in the restaurant and both were very good with very good service. We would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

I used to go there a lot for dinner and parties as thise is my local place and the parking was always free if you are a customer but back in March 2024 I attended a birthday party and a month later I got charged for parking for £ 100 but I when contacted Westberry hotel they just said they have nothing to do with it and they couldn't help Me.

I stayed at the Westberry for the first time recently and was very impressed. Great value for money in the heart of Bodmin and with free parking that was close to and could be seen from the room. The rooms were spotlessly clean, there was always hot water and the shower was lovely and very powerful. The staff offered a warm welcome on arrival and throughout the stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Bodmin.

What an amazing place, food was fabulous as was the service, we stayed in a lovely upgraded superior room with four poster bed, fab tv and bath. The only negative is the mattress really does need changing, that done I would give 5 stars for everything ! Thank you to the whole team !

Staff were excellent.Room was huge,ensuite was lovely.Mattress was a bit old and saggy,otherwise lovely place.Nearby activities: Bodmin jail,steam train walkable.Pub 2 min walk.

Very helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure I was happy. Lovely, well equipped room with a comfortable bed. Great breakfast.
