We had to wait over 30 minutes before anyone took our order – even though the restaurant was almost empty. The menu is very limited, and one of the few dishes, labeled as a “classic,” wasn’t even available. Overall disappointing and not recommendable.

Really unhappy! Second time I I have come here and let down again. Food not fresh, cod had strong smell of fish, clear indication that is was NOT fresh. My parter could smell it and put him off too. We had a lovely stay marred by still waiting 5 weeks later for return of the £50 taken off our card when we checked in. This despite repeatedly asking, and being told it will return “soon”. Put us off coming back as too much hassle for 1 night stay! Not good enough Bodmin Jail.
